    @TELUS I think it’s a pretty crap move to take the finally affordable $60 for 10 promo plan and hike the rate 16%. Never once has a promo plan that I’ve had been altered after signing up.

    @gregnacu I've had 2 Telus accounts for 22 years (originally ClearNET). Any time I have had a dispute I have learned to call them (don't go to a store) and immediate ask the Client Care rep to put you through to a Loyaly (L&R) rep. Explain the problem and they almost always fix it.

    Nice of @TELUS 2 offer all Ontario Frontline Health careworkers 2 months free service but there's a catch-they only consider 6 hospitals that are good enough. what about the other hospitals -All Frontline healthcare workers R important regardless of hospital! Please extend this.

    @bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

    @TELUSsupport I was by use the setting use location for time zone. But I tested again around lunch and unchecked the setting, and it again switched to Atlantic time. Was wondering if this a Telus network issue. I will try to reboot my phone at the end of the day.

    @TELUS I'm TIRED OF YOUR MARKETING CALLS !!! Do you guys even listen to what they do ??? They call you and don't let you pickup and they cancel the call ! OR the time the agent decide to remain and I could pickup, and I told them I am not interested, they just HANG UP ! No Thanks you or "I hope we can serve you better next time.." ! No !     They didn’t leak passwords. They leaked something worse. Crunchyroll breach: • ~1.2M emails confirmed (subset of a larger dataset) • Third-party vendor (Telus Digital) compromised • Malware → Okta SSO → internal tools exposed (~24h access) Data taken: • Emails, names, usernames • IPs + approximate locations • Full support tickets (billing issues, chats, activity logs) That means attackers know: • Your recent support conversations • Billing disputes or issues • Account activity patterns Enough to send highly convincing phishing. Timeline: • Mar 12 → initial breach • Mar 23 → ~6.8M emails claimed • Late Mar → data sold on forums • Apr 4 → 1.2M verified (HIBP) Crunchyroll says no passwords leaked. But context > passwords. What to do: • Change password (especially if reused) • Enable 2FA (authenticator app) • Check HIBP • Watch for targeted emails/SMS This was a supply-chain breach.

    @jillschnarr Do you feel good about a company that bullies customers to purchase new home security systems by issuing a threat to refuse to monitor the customer's existing system? I received a registered letter today from Telus doing just that. Sounds like I should be talking to the CRTC!
