    Years ago, before joining the railroad, I was a telephone operator at Telus. For a while, all the non-male operators got this rude guy calling, commenting and cursing them out. I recognized when he called because he’d usually hang up and call back to harass the ladies...

    @policytensor @Tasnimnews_EN (1 of 2) I don't know but my hunch is that the US Gov't issued a blocking order to my service provider, Telus, (apparently a Canadian-owned firm that does not operate in the US) and it obeyed. During the 1962 Cuban missile crisis, there was a standoff between the US and Canada

    @TELUSsupport I believe this may have been the work of a hacker or someone inside TELUS. It’s almost impossible to resolve this issue online. I’ve tried many times before, but it has never been resolved.

    @VanIsleInvestor @TELUS I signed up a few months ago, no issues, reasonable price. My wife is trying to sign up now. Couple days in and still having issues and the rates are up with less data. New boss man making changes.

    but they won't put another tower in Comox to fix our terrible awful connectivity issues .... I have trouble maintaining a phone call in my KITCHEN IN TOWN .... constantly dropping signal and I am not the only one, there is a dead zone in the subdivision I live in that everyone has issues with but Telus has done nothing IN THE 23 YEARS i HAVE LIVED HERE TO FIX THE PROBLEM ... this issue is well enough known to have had local news stories written about it. SO they want to uograde Victoria you say ... whoop de do :(

    Telus posted a $1.8 billion net loss, mostly a $2.1 billion writedown on Telus Digital, its customer service arm. Rough news. AI is eating the contact center model that arm was built on. I've watched Lagos BPO firms sit on this exact bet for years now, and the clock feels like it's moving faster than anyone priced in.

    @MrStache9 I ditched Telus over a year ago. My friends in Kitchener & my brother ditched Bell. Too expensive & ****** service. I haven’t had a land line for more than 10 years. I’m with Rogers now, for both home and cell service. Telus I was paying over $100 just for my cell. With Rogers I pay $25 for my cell. Cable wise, Rogers isn’t much cheaper but it is more reliable.
