2am thunderstrike overhead fried my Google wifi, Videotron cable modem, a network switch and possibly my ethernet card on my main PC. Very glad I kept a backup router so I can at least get internal services (Plex) back up.

Although Videotron (Quebec Co) is not eligible to bid for spectrum outside of QC, it was invited and urged to bid for spectrum at $0.92/MHz used for 5G outside Quebec. Bell and Telus were forced to pay $3.36/MHz (billions $ more) Humongous favouritism by Trudeau Another WTF...

@OficialLaMimi @Videotron It's already back for me all my other work from home co-workers who were also down on the south shore. It lasted between 5 and 30min for most people. Maybe try and restart your modem once more if it's not already back for you.
