@Videotron is this the customer experience you want for your clients? So if I don’t have the money to pay $400 that I wasn’t supposed to be charged upfront, then you cut off my service and still leave me with the bill? This is none sense.

I switched to @Videotron on June 8th 2021. They offered their high speed internet service, Helix with no installation fees. They gave me 2 options: - Pay for equipment upfront: $388+ tax OR - Pay $12 + tax/month for 24 months. I went with the 2nd option. But guess what?

@Videotron said this kind of thing happens (often?) & that the only option I have is to accept their “courtesy” of $75 and pay the rest otherwise i will receive late fees and eventually they will cut off my service and come get the equipment but that I would still have to pay.

@Videotron still charged me upfront $388+ tax with installation fees of $60 even though I chose to pay in $12 for 24 months. When my bill came out on July 9th, I called customer service. They told me it was a mistake and that they would see what they could do. Lol

@Videotron Everything has been restarted, and I'm hard wired through Ethernet. My speeds are fine and at what they're supposed to be at for my plan. The issue is that something is wrong with your routing to online services. I'm getting weird ping and spikes in games and on Discord/Teamspeak

@NoLore @perreaux 5 years of videotron for me was the exact same as what Les describes: tiny 1second hiccups here and there that ruin video calls & other things that require constant service. Smaller ISPs have to care, while the monopolies have no need to care.

@perreaux with videotron for years, never had any problems, now with helix for internet, but no tv. (i dont recommend helix tv) but internet is A-1 #JoinTheDarkSide and they go out of their way in service a la clientele, even through covid
