  • 3_punch Gilles Monvoisin (@3_punch) reported from Gatineau, Québec

So @Videotron sent a collection agency to collect $$ from my 84yr old with ALS for not returning his cablebox. The issue is that the tech who installed the box put a lock on it and we could not remove. I explained to videotron reps but they just want $$ #greedy

  • AllieKnitNinja Allie MacAlister (@AllieKnitNinja) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@brianjpapineau I went from Wind/Freedom to Koodo and never looked back, but I hear good things about Videotron.

  • johnefrancis johnefrancis🇨🇦 (@johnefrancis) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

Hey @Videotron, the tech support handle shown in the customer centre app @videotron24_7 doesn't seem to exist.

Vidéotron Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • Bryson_M bryson (@Bryson_M) reported

The Competition Bureau's position on the Rogers-Shaw-Videotron deal illustrates the Kafkaesque reasons why Canadians won't benefit from either increased facilities or service-based competition. The CB complains that Videotron would rely on a competitor to provide services.

  • SarahJaneMorris SJ 🤷‍♀️ (@SarahJaneMorris) reported

Trying to help my mom adjust her @Videotron mobile, cable and internet settings and I have never in my ever living years using internet websites had such an incomprehensibly terrible, topstitch turbo, mind meltingly non sensical UX experience in my whole damn life. shame on you!

  • MattOnDemand Matt Fraser (@MattOnDemand) reported

Oh @FreedomMobile you need to finally break down the wall and let us use our phones everywhere in Canada. @Videotron only operates in Quebec; yet they have national data built into their plans. And I don’t mean the tiny buckets of 500mb you give us…. Sigh.

  • mediamorphis Dwayne Winseck (@mediamorphis) reported

Another key point: who believes that Rogers being able to pick a replacement for Shaw's Freedom Mobile, ie Videotron, and then do what it needs to help foster Videotron as a strong competitor? This is fantasy & fiction, paraphrase y'day's brutal ruling by the FCA.

  • MAAWLAW Mark Warner (@MAAWLAW) reported

“Independent internet service providers… are… upset about @Rogers offering a sweetheart deal to @Videotron that could drive them out of business altogether… the arrangement smacks of anti-competitive behaviour. A legal challenge… is not just possible; it is most likely.”🤔

  • aftellemath michelle (of the people) (@aftellemath) reported

alright NO ONR can talk me into qc dates i hate videotron with my entire being i will not go to that awful arena even for space band

  • ajcrowlor 🏵️ pool boy at Camp Chitaqua 🏵️ (@ajcrowlor) reported

of course today Videotron has to be a piece of **** when we're trying to watch Winchesters 🙃

  • Dan_ign Danny A. Ignacio (@Dan_ign) reported

@Videotron i just received an email from #videotron concerning an increase in rate service... Really? You offer a very low 400mbs compared to your competition @Bell. #betteryouroffer

  • peternowak Peter Nowak (@peternowak) reported

In a nutshell, Rogers wants to give Videotron access to its national broadband network at sweetheart rates so it can get its merger with Shaw through. This illegal side deal will kill competition, including TekSavvy, and allow the big guys to fix wholesale access rates.

  • peternowak Peter Nowak (@peternowak) reported

PKP on the $850 million Rogers-Videotron network-sharing lawsuit: this time it's going to be different, trust us
