    @Bell_Support made a long distance call on the land line and not only get charged the long distance charge but also get charged “LD network connection fee”!

    It took me over 40 (yes, forty) minutes on the phone to cancel my @bell internet. I lost count after refusing 12 predatory, aggressive sales pitches and retention efforts. Would love to see @CRTCeng levy sanctions on them for their numerous unethical practices.

    @Bell_Support Was on hold 54 minutes... they forgot about me. Had to hang up. No callback... not like they didn't have my number! Called again. Another 25 minutes and am paying MORE than I started with. Next call is too @Rogers. Signed a loyal customer of many years.

    ANALYSIS: @Rogers @TELUS and @Bell will never listen and the CRTC is weak, so just head to @FreedomMobile and get a LOT more bag for your buck. CRTC ruled that 1 GB/$30 is minimum for Canada. Not good enough.

    @CdnChamberofCom the practice of telco’s like @Bell & @Rogers charging us to become their customer through the charging of “setup fees” is pernicious and absurd. This practice seems to be spreading into the utilities market, essentially becoming an acceptable fleecing culture.

    @Bell_Support We’ve actually called multiple times regarding this issue, and bell has hung up on us. We had asked for it to be disconnected in 2013, as we no longer needed a cottage line since we have cell phones, and never re connected it. Lady on the phone today felt no need to refund her.

    Probably what's happened is that he's on @Bell's list of ppl that get shunted to a department for "problem callers", that is, folks that call often with issues the company feels are easily solved thru self-service. It's a real department. Nordia's Orillia office has/had it.

    I did something I haven't done in over a year -- @Bell satellite tech support, b/c the agent my 86 year old neighbour called just told him to "look it up on the website" re: getting new remote to work w/Sat receiver & tv. Y'all. C'mon.
