@cogeco Hi Jodi... called about 10x.... had a technician out he said a crew would be out to fix things two days ago. We havent had TV, Internet or Phone working since last Thurs! I want to see!!! 🚐🚧⚒

@Bell I’m new costumer I’ve been waiting a week for cable & wifi installation. contacted costumer service and what I got as a answer was “if you are not happy you can cancel you order” i will and go back with cogeco at least they’re nice ppl thanks !

@cogeco Hi Jodi! We’ve reset the modem and spoke with customer support yesterday for 30 minutes and they couldn’t fix it, so a repair person is supposed to be coming by today!

@cogeco I already called in earlier and the lady I spoke to said she would be back to me in 5 mins that was several hours ago now. I had the engineer here yesterday and another one last week. We can just go on and on, it’s something outside my house. Down to you sorry

@cogeco I have 1 box is shut down, rebooting has not helped. Just says “this channel available shortly”, also another box doing same thing but I shut off for 2 mins it comes back

@cogeco Yeah pretty much went back up after I sent the message. There was an outage map I saw that showed it all down or flickering so that was where I got that info from but it's good now.

They can take ownership of the situation but refuse to do so. It feels punitive for having chosen a reseller, who incidentally provides fantastic customer care.

@cogeco To be honest with you I have reached out to them for several years now, there are lots of businesses around here and the demand must be greater than the supply the service is poor and it’s up to you to fix it. I’m the customer I would prefer you take it up on my behalf

@cogeco Since Cogeco probably doesn’t want you doing so, for those that know how, this issue can be resolved by changing your DNS server on your modem/router settings. Google’s DNS server is 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4.

@ppreville @Ptbo_Canada @cogeco I have Cogeco as well, was perplexed when my google wifi was working and wired was not. Google wifi uses Google's DNS. Seems like they are using a bad DNS server. If you are on windows try opening command prompt and typing ipconfig/flushdns.

@_chris905 @Niagara_411 If you’re talking about cogeco not having the infrastructure that is incorrect. Literally every other internet service that uses cogeco lines is fine. It’s the same issue that happened the other day. The problem is leadership at cogeco and not fixing the root of the issue.
