Been a @Fidomobile user for 5 years but today I encountered the worst CSR ever. His or her nam is Kathy.

  • stevetogm
StevieB (@stevetogm) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FidoSolutions @Fidomobile Personally, I think this outage is in retaliation for the latest #crtc ruling. It shouldn't take almost 16 hours to fix these outages. I see a lot of compensation to customers for this outage today. Totally unacceptable!

  • AndreaVelez93
Andrea Velez (@AndreaVelez93) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile is really starting to piss me off. I've been trying to get in touch with someone for a week and no one has called me back. Wtf

  • nayakashu
Ashutosh Nayak (@nayakashu) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile 5) How can you expect me to pay CA$180 for something that’s actually worth CA$5? Pathetic service! Please update the charges as soon as possible or I will have no option other than filing a consumer complaint.

  • BhavinShahTO
Bhavin Shah (@BhavinShahTO) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile something is going on with your support centre - was put in queue for an hour on hold, only to then be disconnected with a “unable to take your call” message - what other way can I get support without wasting my time on hold?

  • _parab0la
hot potato (@_parab0la) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Ok so Rogers was tryna funnel customers from chatr to Fido/other sister companies because they were moving a lot of the chatr ppl from 3G to LTE and wanted consumers to pay more for the same service. Gotcha.

FIDO "Forget it, drive on." Do not hang on to old hurts and grudges. Keep moving forward and try to leave those burdens behind you.

@Fidomobile Hello! I've lost my home wifi internet connectivity and your website chatbot says there's an outage in my area - M4T 1K1. Would you be able to give an estimate on when it'll be resolved? Thanks!

  • MetroManTO
Pedro Marques (@MetroManTO) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@bp256r1 @FlyingTrilobite @c_9 @convertdcyclist They’ll only change once there’s a new Police Chief. This FIDO (**** If Drive Off) culture present in the police service, runs deep. For cyclists, it’ll only change once we have complete streets. Too many people are inherently selfish. They care about their safety, not of others.

  • rachaelmcollier

@Fidomobile the app has been down for several days which has been causing me some issues, when will it be back up?

  • EsBeeEf

Is #Fido down in GTA? Can someone please confirm. @Fidomobile

  • MetroManTO
Pedro Marques (@MetroManTO) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Traffic Services blames “budget” on lack of traffic enforcement. What I’ve seen out there are police officers on traffic duty, ignoring blatant traffic violations. This is a cultural problem, not one of budget. Toronto Police officers follow the FIDO motto: F* It Drive Off.

  • DelroyDyer89
Delroy Dyer 🇻🇨🇨🇦 (@DelroyDyer89) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Everybody's giving deals for new customers. @Fidomobile has a good deal for @FreedomMobile customers, much better than what I'm paying now. If Fido internet wasn't giving me so many issues, I'd probably switch as it'd cut my bill 40%.

  • iamdieroiramor
rr. (@iamdieroiramor) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile contacted me today with the worst retention offers. I’ll gladly stay with Virgin mobile since my over 10 years of loyalty meant nothing. In this economy, I refuse to spend more than $40 for a phone plan.

  • stevetogm

@Fidomobile Reporting NO DATA down since way early this morning. Glad that I have a wi-fi connection. Not glad that I'm paying for a service that is not working. Might need a credit. #FIDO

  • AHAkramLodhi
Haroon Akram-Lodhi (@AHAkramLodhi) reported from The Beaches, Ontario

@FidoSolutions has been quite useful in the past. Not today. 3 hours after first explaining my issue I am still saying the same thing! No help whatsoever, @Fidomobile

  • SDerrel

@FidoSolutions You’re solution is to send me to @Brightstar. Shame on @Fidomobile for working with this company.

  • waleedkhogali
Walied Khogali Ali (@waleedkhogali) reported from Toronto, Ontario

After hours of arguments, Fido actually admitted fault and offered to credit the 1000 minutes at the standard rate ($1.95/min), bringing the bill down to $1,300+, which he still can’t pay.

@Fidomobile My Bell plan is actually even cheaper than the one with Fido thanks to some special discounts, so I was actually willing to go up a bit higher for the supposedly better Rogers network. I am not impressed. No big deal though right? (3/21)

  • zoomieking00
    Mama bless (@zoomieking00) reported

Why can’t I talk to a real person when I call @Fidomobile I just called right now and they are booking appointments for call backs on Monday, nothing earlier. Why do I have to wait until Monday to speak to a live person or get my problem resolved, that is ridiculous!!

  • _Brantone
    B-rantone (@_Brantone) reported

Yikes, @Fidomobile makes it really hard to get in contact with them. Used to be great customer service. But trying online chat is useless and phone just goes in circles. Time to switch.

@Fidomobile @RogersHelps Your brand team onboarded me back to Fido and my port is completed, but I haven’t received the eSIM QR code. I’m without network. Kindly check and DM me.

@Fidomobile I have already left Canada since June 2025 and will no longer use this plan and phone number. However, Fido keep charging me for 5 months. I can not cancel my plan online and also I can not talk to a specialist. Please help me to cancel my plan and STOP CHARGING ME anymore!

  • 7Navid7kg
    Nav ID (@7Navid7kg) reported

@Fidomobile I have been trying to cancel my phone service by calling your company multiple times. Each time I inform the representative that I wish to cancel my line, they hang up on me. This is unacceptable and reflects very poor service. Please address this issue asap

  • djdeeep

@Fidomobile has the worst access to customer service and technical support I've had in my life. I think I made a huge mistake signing up with them! #mobilefail

  • Adegox
    Adégòkè (@Adegox) reported

@Fidomobile Your internal communications is **** and your customer service sucks! I don’t think it’s funny for you guys to keep calling and texting for an issue that is your fault!!

  • howardruns
    Howard Bailey (@howardruns) reported

@Rogers @Fidomobile I called close to opening time at 9 am, when @RogersHelps agents are available, so there was no hold time. The last #CSR and supervisor, with whom I spoke, were both extremely helpful. She resolved one major issue. The supervisor even called me back, when I accidentally hung up, whilst switching to my Bluetooth headset. Here are my challenges: 1. I needed to escalate to her manager, when what I needed accomplished, was out of her scope. Your policy, does not permit that level of management to interface directly within users. 2. I am not a fan of self service options, for customer support issues. Additionally, my reasonable adjustment request requires a managers override. If it wasn’t available option in your system, the supervisor with whom I spoke, would have made the changes. 3. Your company’s policies placed me in this situation, in the first place. If you renewed the notes for the two interaction numbers that I provided, and all of my interactions with your CSR‘s during the past two months, you were able to confirm this.

@Fidomobile Hello Fido - we’ve tried calling you three times now and we keep getting nowhere. We keep having to schedule a call to speak to anyone. Can anyone help us?
