FIDO "Forget it, drive on." Do not hang on to old hurts and grudges. Keep moving forward and try to leave those burdens behind you.

  • itsjust_molly It's Just Molly Okay (@itsjust_molly) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile I've never been so insulted in my life by a customer service rep. Never going to go with a fido company again.

  • MetroManTO Pedro Marques (@MetroManTO) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Traffic Services blames “budget” on lack of traffic enforcement. What I’ve seen out there are police officers on traffic duty, ignoring blatant traffic violations. This is a cultural problem, not one of budget. Toronto Police officers follow the FIDO motto: F* It Drive Off.

  • xocutthroat 🌹HauteMess (@xocutthroat) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile Fido could really **** up ya credit

  • MetroManTO Pedro Marques (@MetroManTO) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@bp256r1 @FlyingTrilobite @c_9 @convertdcyclist They’ll only change once there’s a new Police Chief. This FIDO (**** If Drive Off) culture present in the police service, runs deep. For cyclists, it’ll only change once we have complete streets. Too many people are inherently selfish. They care about their safety, not of others.

  • Kevinmichaelt Kevin Michael (@Kevinmichaelt) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Yes I’m currently with Fido. I have been with Rogers/Fido for 15 years now between the 2 and incredibly disappointed with the rates and data issues I’ve been fighting for years

    Drake uses Fido service

  • liom79 Cesar (@liom79) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FidoSolutions I was in the byod plan, tested an iphone upgrade but changed my mind. Returned under 15 days remorse yet Fido takes 4 days after arrival From UPS on purpose: bad business

  • MetroManTO Pedro Marques (@MetroManTO) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@StephenPunwasi @normsworld I’ve been predicting this for years and unfortunately it’s coming true. TPS have been working to rule ever since carding was taken away. They’re doing only the minimum work required, letting traffic violations pass. It’s known in police circles as FIDO: “**** It Drive Off”.

  • johndkaner John Kane 💻😃🌳 (@johndkaner) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Kind of like telling my dog: "sit", *wait until dog does or doesn't sit*, "speak", *wait until dog barks*, "roll over", *wait, then maybe try again*, "roll over". Give Fido a treat.

  • shannon_roszell Shannon Roszell (@shannon_roszell) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

Very disappointed by customer service from @Fidomobile Charged $85 in roaming charges when I had my roaming turned off. I think it’s time for a new provider. #fido #fidomobility #disappointed #poorcustomerservice

  • DeanLubaki 👑 (@DeanLubaki) reported from Toronto, Ontario

.@1Password it's very problematic that the only way of recovering 2FA is through a recognized browser. I never use the browser on my personal computer because I have the app. Worst, it's not possible to issue backup codes for cold storage or use a FIDO Yubikey.

  • SharmaChetan7 Chetan Sharma (@SharmaChetan7) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Fidomobile @FidoSolutions What an amazing service provider you are with the reach across Toronto area. Call Drop - Being faced at Danforth Area. No Service - While traveling the TTC from Bathurst to Kennedy. THANK YOU so much for this BAD NETWORK! #Refrain #FIDO #Network 👎

  • YanaSyn23 Toronto23 (@YanaSyn23) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers and @Fido should offer their clients free therapy sessions after we have to deal with their call centres. I called @Rogers, got hung up on 3 times, and waited for 20 mins the 4th time. Called @Fido and got hung up on 3 times. I feel hopeless and empty inside. Help.

  • EvennNicole Nicole (@EvennNicole) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@SDGreenall I'm with Fido and I'm pretty happy. Decent price, but not "discount" service. I get great coverage. Includes my Spotify membership. I do BYOD though - not sure what the phone plans are if you don't buy your device outright.

  • g3theseus Dave Anderson (@g3theseus) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers @TELUS @Bell Hi there. I'm with Fido right now but am looking to move because they do not support Apple watch. My plan with them is 10gB for $60. Do you have a similar plan that I could move to? I'd be interested in adding the watch option as well. Thanks

  • alexdrobin Alex Drobin (@alexdrobin) reported from Toronto, Ontario

A @fido @FidoSolutions @Fidomobile employee asked “What’s your address?” And “what’s your email” as the only two security questions when accessing an account... these companies need to up their customer service standards. #BadCustomerService

  • TOareaFan Toarea Fan ?? (@TOareaFan) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I have never felt so much like a criminal in my life. All I am trying to do is purchase an additional product and service form a company (@bell ) I have a 30+ year relationship. 5 hours later I have just been asked for photoid for the 3rd time! Fido is across the hall!

  • Chibi_Matt Matt Hesketh (@Chibi_Matt) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@FidoSolutions I have Fido home internet, and find that the speeds fluctuate enormously. I tested my connection this morning using only 1 connected device and speed was extremely poor. Are you throttling, and if so, is it time based and platform based, or, should I just switch? T

  • ombraclaris Ombra Claris (@ombraclaris) reported from Toronto, Ontario

  • mildmojo mildmojo✈︎ (@mildmojo) reported

@ragzouken Kinda like offline mail packets for old BBSes, or the FIDO network that forwarded mail from BBS to BBS by having them periodically call each other. But like mixed with the feeling of dead drops, since there's a proximity component.

  • jerclarke jer clarke (@jerclarke) reported

@melissajclark_ I use it on my iPhone XS! It’s amazing. I have both my Fido (to keep my Canadian number) and Mexican sim (for dirt cheap data and service that works across North America). Worst part is a phone reset deletes your esim, no backup possible.

  • jfmezei Jean-François Mezei (@jfmezei) reported

So Telus places an ad admitting its flanker brands are on same network as Telus. And now Rogers says that they’ve never hidden the fact that Fido/Chatr are on same network. In the past, they have gone out of their way to hide the association. #CRTC

  • tacboi69 Tac (@tacboi69) reported

@Anziris @Kociator And you keep trying to shove a 3 inch **** in fido's butt but he doesn't want it because hes a dog he doesn't like things in his butt. But like a little ******* retarded kid you just keep trying to touch the dogs *******. What a sad ******* life you live

  • arekfurt Brian in Pittsburgh (@arekfurt) reported

@markmorow Tangentially, I will point out I'm looking forward to the new version of OpenSSH matriculating down into Win10 with it's new built-in FIDO 1/2 support. That's going to be a nice, easier, secure remote admin for some scenarios I care about.
