Rogers Issues Reports Near Alderwood, Ontario

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Alderwood and nearby locations:

  • jasonwagar Jason Wagar (@jasonwagar) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@JeremyJohnstonK @Rogers Man alive. Rogers just told me their residential service wasn’t “strong enough” to support Zoom, so I should pay more for a business line. Then told me their service was not compatible with @Google Wifi mesh networks.

  • jasonwagar Jason Wagar (@jasonwagar) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@JeremyJohnstonK @Rogers @Google Yeah. I was with Teksavvy for a long time and very happy with them, until there were area issues (with the Rogers infrastructure). Rogers saw that I was a Teksavvy customer so put the tech call for my house at the bottom of the list, and postponed it many times.

  • ARRRRGLYE38 ARRR CiTY ARRR TEAM (@ARRRRGLYE38) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@M3L0C @CP24 @Rogers If you are still doing ANY business with Rogers, then it's your fault for paying the high prices. Their service and prices are brutal. NO THANKS!

  • nerd_gab NerdGab 🍁 (@nerd_gab) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers What the hell... AGAIN?!?! This is the 3rd time in the last week that there is a service outage in my area!! I have 3 people working from home, conducting meetings, calls - what the hell?! No warning?! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

  • jasonwagar Jason Wagar (@jasonwagar) reported from Toronto, Ontario

.@RogersHelps tech support: “Our home Internet connections aren’t good enough to support Zoom and working from home, so you need to switch to a Rogers business internet account.”

  • c_snapper Collin Ng (@c_snapper) reported from Toronto, Ontario

No internet service at home since Friday with no solution in sight. Why did @Rogers bother signing the building up for a bulk deal forcing their sub par service on us when they can’t even deliver. I’m legit willing to pay extra just to get my old @Bell Fibre service back.

  • nerd_gab NerdGab 🍁 (@nerd_gab) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers thanks for NOT ALERTING anyone in our postal code that there was scheduled maintenance that will interrupt internet services. WORST ISP IN CANADA 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  • avocadosplease Chip Off the Old Block (@avocadosplease) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps I have used the Ignite TV app with Chromecast for over a year with no problems & all of a sudden the screen is stuck on "Ready to Cast" when I try to watch anything. All of my other streaming apps are still casting fine. I have cleared the cache and restarted. #HELP

  • d_a_f_f_y_d David Lussier (@d_a_f_f_y_d) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps what the hell is going on with service in the M6M area? This is crazy

  • c_snapper Collin Ng (@c_snapper) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Never thought I’d say this but….I miss my internet and TV services from @Bell. @Rogers is included in the new condo but the speed is pathetic for 1GB service.

  • coolmanjun 정영준 チョン・ヨンジュン (@coolmanjun) reported from Toronto, Ontario

  • StrikeMor Eric Deaton (@StrikeMor) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps for a multi million dollar company your cable service sucks

  • nerd_gab NerdGab 🍁 (@nerd_gab) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Yeah sure. You're service line says 'enter your phone number to be notified when service is restored in your area' but no one calls or texts. I speak with "Anna" the service-bot online, and choose the option to be notified, still no one called or text. So I'm real hopeful here 😑

  • DanielRWright Lord Daniel R. Wright (@DanielRWright) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Why is @Rogers the worst? To renew my cable/internet, with absolutely no changes, they want to increase my bill another $70 a month! For what?! @RogersHelps I’ve been a customer for over five years!

  • ImpatienTourist The Impatient Tourist (@ImpatienTourist) reported from Toronto, Ontario

  • AndreCleroux Andre Cleroux (@AndreCleroux) reported

@JimJohannsson @UnbarredMoose @RogersHelps Why yes we have. The problem is receiving the information from the incumbent, not relaying it ;)

  • UnbarredMoose Dave Fogarty (@UnbarredMoose) reported

@JimJohannsson @AndreCleroux @RogersHelps Hey Jim, please stop defending your taxpayer-funded network. Just stop. The number of breaks you get from the government is silly. You clearly work for a big three. It May not be rogers but one of the big three, so go back to work and delivery on your word.

  • JimJohannsson Jim Johannsson (@JimJohannsson) reported

    @AndreCleroux @UnbarredMoose @RogersHelps There’s an old saying, “a bad carpenter blames his tools”. ;-)

  • speedysparky37 Speedysparky37 (@speedysparky37) reported

@RickyHitman13 @Kirshenblatt @RogersHelps When I was a little boy I always wanted to work for Rogers especially hooking up cable. That dreamed died when the prices increased and service wasn’t top of their game. Signed by self made millionaire Service Expert

  • UnbarredMoose Dave Fogarty (@UnbarredMoose) reported

@JimJohannsson @AndreCleroux @RogersHelps Finally, retire doesn't mean you aren't consulting for them to help the narrative of being screwed by third party companies on Canadian taxpayer back networks

  • TheScottyM75 Scotty75Martin (@TheScottyM75) reported from Richmond Hill, Ontario

@RogersHelps Bathurst and Jefferson might be one of the worst places for a good wifi signal. #why #signalsucks

  • AndreCleroux Andre Cleroux (@AndreCleroux) reported

@JimJohannsson @UnbarredMoose @RogersHelps Nothing confusing here at all! We always take the responsibility to do right by our customers. I wish the incumbents would treat our customers with that same respect, yet they continuously hide behind "this is what's mandated, and that's where we end." 1/2
