@CBCToronto How about the media report for what it actually is, it’s not intermittent service interruptions, it’s been down since 1am and @RogersHelps had said very little to let the millions of people know when they can expect this nationwide outage will be fixed.

  • trifectaRN Margaret Saari RN, PhD (@trifectaRN) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers why still no service? Definitely not an “intermittent outage”. From when I woke up this morning until now, I have had zero service. Luckily my work phone is with @Bell. Looks like it may be time to switch.

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • roadtoserfdumb spectres be haunting (@roadtoserfdumb) reported

@Zach_Fleisher @RogersHelps I'd also accept an explanation of the massive outage that didn't simply shift the blame onto a software vendor, what they'll do differently in future etc, but two bucks is fine i guess

  • menleedas Sandra Glendale (@menleedas) reported

@Rogers $2.00 compensation from Rogers for loss of business transactions, medical needs, travel on road no way to call for help. Hmm a company that's over charges their Canadian customers and makes big enough profits to give a better compensation then $2.00

  • rharkins2009 ryan (@rharkins2009) reported

@RogersHelps @Rogers did you unplug the network modem for 30 seconds and plug it back in? Let's try that first even though I know you just did it

  • mkaram99 Maria Karam (@mkaram99) reported

@AboutRogers @Rogers if you care about your customers, you would issue a credit for at least the day fee and the disruptions caused to all of us who now work at home and rely 100% on our mobile phones to stay connected. Just saying....

  • Upma_Pongal Question the Govt.! ✋ (@Upma_Pongal) reported

@Mark_Goldberg @Rogers Data speed should not be a criterion anymore as everyone gets the same speed (within the fair usage). Costs can be reduced and thence the opcos can become more competitive! Problem is the aged IT infra. The sooner the big 3 transform and become agile, the better for the country!

  • menleedas Sandra Glendale (@menleedas) reported

@RogersHelps They are offering a $2.00 credit for the day loss of service. Hmm this show how much they value their customers

  • CousinWeezy K (@CousinWeezy) reported

@RogersHelps there a problem with Home internet and wifi currently? I’m not able to use LAN connection or wifi in my home right now

  • _Cardinal_Fang_ Cardinal Fang (@_Cardinal_Fang_) reported

@CarymaRules @Rogers No. This is what an ******* looks and sounds like.

  • Xam017 @Xam017 (@Xam017) reported

@Heather47800927 @AboutRogers @RogersHelps Rogers claims having the best network in Canada. They lied about the severity of the problem with PR-speak then went silent. People are already struggling, financially and emotionally. Systems crash, but this was a big one at a very bad time.

  • julie44627826 julie (@julie44627826) reported

@RogersHelps I have same phone same provider and same city as my kid and her service is restored but not mine
