  • anothergene Gene - 🥃🍸🖖🇨🇦📷🥊🎮🛩🚀💻 (@anothergene) reported

@birgitomo @Rogers Although Roger’s is the root cause of the outage, management of critical services should be asked why they didn’t have redundant network providers. Likely it was judged as too expensive and would affect someone’s bonus.

  • habfandrummer Kevin Reid (@habfandrummer) reported

@MattMassie @RogersHelps I complained to them a week ago about slow mobile data speeds...below 5 mbps. Last night, following the outage, my speeds were back up over 100. This morning? Back down to below 10.

@RogersHelps @Rogers @AboutRogers Currently 1:40 PM in Cambridge, Ontario and we have at least half of the zillion channels we pay for not working, including your Crave TV service. Is this a known issue? Thanks Mike

  • InRodWeTrustMTL Rod Francis (@InRodWeTrustMTL) reported

@Henry_MTL_HABS @birgitomo @Rogers You're right. But unless it involves MLSE, good luck getting BCE and RCI to cooperate and share infrastructure and tech to support redundant protocols at critical sites. Depending on what qualifies police/911/hospitals? You're talking millions of buildings and an incompetent CRTC
