Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Moore Park and nearby locations:

  • snkrbox_inc snkrbox (@snkrbox_inc) reported from Toronto, Ontario

At @RogersBiz getting rid of cable boxes. Realized they don’t have a Twitter and assuming it has to do with the service

  • meaghanabc Meaghan Coulter (@meaghanabc) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Rogers please fix this internet outage quick.... I’m home sick and just wanna watch cheer squad on Netflix and not chew my data on my phone.

  • marmalade Kelly Knights (@marmalade) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I love it when my home internet goes down when I'm working from my couch. This is why I keep my phone and home internet with different companies. Time to hotspot 😒 @RogersHelps

  • WayneRodriguez Wayne Rodrigues (@WayneRodriguez) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@freedomsupport Sure, if I live in a basement or somewhere rural, but I refuse to believe this while I have excellent @Rogers and @Bell cellular service in the same condo unit which is located on a very prominent street in the city. My network is not even at half status as I type this.

  • chezsiva Siva Swaminathan (@chezsiva) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps I’ve been going through your customer service 3 times - going around and around in circles still no solution 😫

  • pelicanseal George James (@pelicanseal) reported from Toronto, Ontario

So now @Rogers @RogersHelps is making more excuses on why cell phone charges are getting worse. The only they’re igniting is crappy customer service

  • michaelnugent Pumpkin Spice Mike 🎃 (@michaelnugent) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps The conference line was only at that number and area code, so I didn't have another one to use. Our rescheduled meeting will use an alternative number, but this shouldn't have been an issue in the first place, especially since this was an important work conference call.

  • AGold_89 Alex (@AGold_89) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersBiz @RogersHelps just reiterating the fact that your new online reservation system is an absolute farce. Not sure how you can take 6 days to ship a phone when I was 3rd in queue to get it and reserved early. Meanwhile all the local stores have the phone in stock. Awful.

  • chezsiva Siva Swaminathan (@chezsiva) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Finally problem resolved - it took 2 hrs

  • AGold_89 Alex (@AGold_89) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps I got an email saying it “was being shipped” and to click the UPS link to track it, but you don’t provide any tracking number. The system is bad I don’t care about the wait

  • AbeLee81 Abe Lee (@AbeLee81) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@asekander @Rogers My 7 is still going strong as well but the new camera sure looks nice. Since they no longer slow the older phones to a crawl with each iOS update, I haven’t had a reason to upgrade.

  • CulturalCurator Jacqueline Olivia (@CulturalCurator) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Just experienced the WORST customer service in a very long time with @Rogers. I've been a loyal customer for years and years, and after this encounter, I'm seriously thinking of switching telephone providers and bringing my family with me.

  • SophiaCybulski Sophia Cybulski (@SophiaCybulski) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Yes for Apple replaced this I phone for me and I still had issues with your SIM card everything is closed now only twitter is alive and whatsapp

  • Kevinmichaelt Kevin Michael (@Kevinmichaelt) reported from Toronto, Ontario

  • Toronto_Lori Lori fromTO 🇨🇦 (@Toronto_Lori) reported from Toronto, Ontario

The solution was for @RogersHelps to give me a phone number I obviously already have. I called 30 days before the move. The nice person I spoke to asked for my new address, checked and said “yes, we serve that location. Installation will be easy.”

  • iDarija Darija Ivankovic (@iDarija) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Hey @Rogers. Pick up your damn phones.

  • brukneck Brukneck aka Don (@brukneck) reported from Toronto, Ontario

25+years battling the encumbant telephone companies as Call Net / Sprint / Rogers (MetroNet /AT&T /Allstream) never thought I'd see a Bell truck in my driveway. Good job @Rogers

  • brukneck Brukneck aka Don (@brukneck) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Save the patronizing bs. Happens too often. And because of the piss poor outside cable install by @Rogers @RogersHelps @Bell can't install without significant work. A 20+ year Customer /former employee and you've negated any goodwill.

  • Toronto_Lori Lori fromTO 🇨🇦 (@Toronto_Lori) reported from Toronto, Ontario

God help me, but I love awards shows. Too bad I’m missing the #Emmys2019 because @RogersHelps couldn’t send someone able to hook up internet/tv in the middle of Toronto despite me waiting for 2 appointments. (1 was a no show.)

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • human___a Hooman Askari (@human___a) reported

Hey @Rogers instead of sending so many letters of apologies, firing your CTO or other tacky games, drop the prices, improve services and support competition. Allow Canada's telecom progress, it's worse than most countries right now. Your greed is holding an entire country back.

  • mikedojcsak Mike James Dojcsak (@mikedojcsak) reported

@RogersHelps Thanks for the string of emails about how you know you **** the bed and are working on it. I would’ve appreciated the free five days of service that was promised if that actually appeared on my bill. But sure, I’ll keep paying $162 a month like that’s normal.

  • halifaxbeard Logan (home in Halifax!) (@halifaxbeard) reported

@TheRegister As a @RogersHelps customer, the amount of redactions in that document are disgusting.

  • jenny13122298 jenny (@jenny13122298) reported

@rogers are you serious about your business?! We have had numerous low signal and numerous internet disconnected in the last few days and at this moment! We are working from home people, and reply 100% on the internet quality, and you are playing hide and seek now with us?

  • 416ash @416ash (@416ash) reported

@mgeist @BrianMasseMP Or Staffieri maybe on the hook for replacing all those dead batteries from @rogers Home Phone users older than 5 years ago. Absolutely not designed to survive an emergency of even a 3-4 hour power outage.

  • amandasbuTful Amanda L (@amandasbuTful) reported

All we get from the #rogersoutage is a letter saying well do better and invest money in A.I... Nothing about how they will repay for the damage they've done... thanks @Rogers

  • latimat LATIMAT 2.0 (@latimat) reported

@Techie4201 @RogersHelps Class Action Law Suit started in Quebec by a guy who’s suing for two months each client, I’m goi g higher for $14,000 CAD for a US lost sale that Friday outage $10,999 USD. • rarityfirefly 𝒂𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒂 ♑️ (@rarityfirefly) reported

Wondering when the @Rogers credit for loss of service is supposed to show up. Cuz I just got billed and it’s the same amount as always. 🤔

  • filmryder Nicholas Mckenzie (@filmryder) reported

@AboutRogers @Rogers Now you want to fix it? If you have 10 billion spare cash, maybe you should have had a reliable network in the first place. #liar
