  • oneillyatescbc Chris O'Neill-Yates (@oneillyatescbc) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

Hello @rogers I’m a CBC reporter working from home, an essential worker relying on the internet to file multiple times daily. Our internet service keeps dropping out, and at times is at 10% speed. For 2 days customer service insists there is no problem. There is. Please fix it.

  • JohnCRyan1979 John Ryan (@JohnCRyan1979) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

  • realbobert Bob Greene (@realbobert) reported from Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador

Had @Rogers internet now for about 3 months and I’m very dissapointed. Paying for 1G service and getting less than 200M hardwired is ridiculous. Never thought I’d start thinking about going back to Bell but here I am. @RogersHelps

  • LynnMoriarity Lynn Moriarity (@LynnMoriarity) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

Why do I pay so much for a local provider NL @BellAliant when your technical support is based in the Philippines and useless to help here ?! Is this where the $122 million in labour pandemic support from @JustinTrudeau went?!? @Rogers are you a local provider?

  • CJclass09 CJ (@CJclass09) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

@RogersHelps I’ve tried contacting you about WiFi service several times. Ran all your tests, got a new modem, the works—your internet is still not working. I truly think if I don’t cancel my service, I’ll have only myself to blame. Have a good life though.

  • Basietq23 Basiet Qayyum (@Basietq23) reported

@RogersHelps @Rogers I’m in the Mississauga Oakville border my home wifi is still down, other people in my neighborhood have gotten their wifi back working but mine is still down. When will it be fixed?

  • misterwashburn Mike Washburn 🔜 Nova Scotia (@misterwashburn) reported

.@Rogers may be saying they've restored service but the reality is they've BARELY restored service. 3/4 the things I use the internet for still remain non-functional. I won't let them only think we've been down for 1 day - my bill is WAY too high for that. #rogersoutage

  • tweetingshak 🇬🇾Shaka David🇨🇦 (@tweetingshak) reported

@CBCNews Sorry but I couldn’t watch it as @RogersBiz and @rogerstv and associated internet networks are still down.

  • FabulousFit40 FabulousFearlessFit (@FabulousFit40) reported

@vote4robgill @Rogers Rogers’ outage stopped residents from being able to access 911 services for almost 24 hours, causing delays in life-saving medical treatment. It’s possible that some people died (heart attack & can’t call for help) and Rogers thinks $3.80 will compensate for this?!!!

  • Bigrockguy888 Bigrockguy (@Bigrockguy888) reported

    @Ryan_Q97 @Sportsnet @RogersHelps Find a fix yet? I can barely tell there's a basketball game going on

@AboutRogers Hey @rogers- you said 100% of cell service was back online- why not ME?! #amItheonlyone?!?

  • johnc9420 John (@johnc9420) reported

@RogersHelps I've had nothing but constant problems with Rogers and I hate Rogers ignite because you have a TV service relying on the unreliable internet I miss the DVR cable boxes when you can hook a hard drive up to them instead of this ridiculous cloud storage

  • Iwantgoodthing1 Iwantgoodthings (@Iwantgoodthing1) reported

@RogersHelps Everything was brought back at midnight but now my TV is glitching and I cant record any programs. Will I be credited for now 2 days of terrible service?

  • diggdeeper D B (@diggdeeper) reported

@RogersHelps @JustinTrudeau Could you please have a word with CRTC to ensure there is a HUGE fine for this outage & they are forced to improve their infrastructure WITHOUT increasing rates to subscribers.

  • GHarrisCCIM Greg Harris, SIOR, CCIM (@GHarrisCCIM) reported

@RogersHelps Service is still out at our house (N6H) but others in our neighbourhood have been back up all day - what the hell!
