@Rogers @RogersHelps your pay as you go feature is extremely challenging and difficult to sign up for. And no one in the Rogers stores can help guide me?!

  • pixl_frames
PixlFrames | Veni, Vidi, Cepi (@pixl_frames) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

Hey @RogersHelps why is it that a 10 yr loyal customer pays $96 for the EXACT same service that is offered to a 1 yr customer for $60?

  • thechadrsmith
Chad R. Smith (@thechadrsmith) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

@RogersHelps Thanks for making it an easy decision to cancel my wireless service and switch to another provider. Making it impossible to upgrade my device online was the clincher. Can't stand the infinite loop of error messages. I'm out.

  • 1_bande
Brenda Atchison 🇨🇦 (@1_bande) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

@RogersHelps hi folks We are suffering from a faulty modem that is rebooting 4-7 times a day now. It started a couple of weeks ago with a reboot here and there. Ever increasing in frequency. The rest of our services are fine. We’re working from home this is becoming a problem

  • karynhynes
Karyn Hynes (@karynhynes) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

I try my best to be super nice to customer service reps because I’ve been there and the job can be awful.... but @RogersHelps CSR’s from the call centres turn me into that ******* everyone hates.

  • NothingworksDan
Dan (@NothingworksDan) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

@RogersHelps What is the voicemail number, holding 1 doesn't work (wrong number). Setting up Alcatel flip phone. ...... All online help just says 'Just press 1 to access'

  • LorenPadelford
Loren Padelford (@LorenPadelford) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

Hey @Rogers your process to help customers when their phone number is stolen is seriously broken. You leave customers at signifcant risk for further fraud for no reason. Super disappointing and dangerous.

  • TheKarltopia
Karl Zenith Nieva (@TheKarltopia) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

@marty_d_ @Rogers I figured as much. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't a system issue. Looks like a capacity issue

  • TheSmileCEO
Jimmy Moss (@🏡) (@TheSmileCEO) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

@RogersHelps home internet intermittently going down for 3-5 minutes at a time multiple times per hour. Is this a known issue? I’m in Waterloo, Ontario.

  • MPocaterra1
    M. Pocaterra (@MPocaterra1) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

@Rogers You guys should improve the internet service before promoting other products!

  • DavidJLoredan
David J Loredan, UE (@DavidJLoredan) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

@RogersHelps This is on the ignite TV app, not the Box. I can send screenshots as well. No....that always causes problems. My set top box is working fine, but can't watch on app. Not going to jinx it and risk losing my internet entirely. Thanks anyways.

  • TheKarltopia
Karl Zenith Nieva (@TheKarltopia) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

@RogersHelps This was pathetic. I'm pretty bad about this. With all the technology that you guys advertise, the fact that you don't have a Call Back option is mind boggling.

  • 1_bande
Brenda Atchison 🇨🇦 (@1_bande) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

@RogersHelps Thanks for your help all worked out. Sorry I thought that I had DM’d that.

  • MPocaterra1
    M. Pocaterra (@MPocaterra1) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

@RogersHelps I called you during morning and the excuse is Internet is down in Waterloo. Thanks for answer, but what I need is efficient service!

  • kevin_maltby
Kevin (@kevin_maltby) reported from Kitchener, Ontario

But that BREAKS an awful lot of EXISTING device configurations @Rogers. You want to offer a new feature, great. Good for you! But to break things, at scale, by default is a very poor decision.

  • TheJarraCanuck
Greg Smith (@TheJarraCanuck) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

@RogersHelps Hi Rogers, fix your DNS servers they have been constantly going offline over the last couple of weeks. Frustrating when you use Ignite and cannot change your DNS settings to point at something more reliable 😉

  • grlsruledaworld
EmpowerGirlsToday (@grlsruledaworld) reported from Waterloo, Ontario

  • scoghlin

Hi @Rogers fix the internet in Kitchener-Waterloo already. I don't pay my bill every other month, so let's get this stabilized!

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ErnestBorgTen
    Ernest BorgTen (@ErnestBorgTen) reported

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Can't help w Rogers and I know for many people this is unhelpful, but have you eliminated all your wireless hardware as a potential source? I completely revamped my network at the start of pandemic - wired drops at all desks, 3 overlapping wifi routers.

  • tonih_78
    toni (@tonih_78) reported

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Similar happened to me years ago but w/ Videotron. We'd lose internet out of nowhere for sometimes hours at a time. After years of frustrating calls w them & a new modem, we finally got a tech who wasn't lazy & changed the exterior cable. Problem solved. Good luck.

  • Shakespearicle1
    Shakespearicles (@Shakespearicle1) reported

@Maxicoza21 @RogersHelps Same here from Parkdale, it's been out since around 10pm last night. Rogers has been no help whatsoever so far, and it looks like I'm out another day's pay because I can't work.

  • human3500
    Human 3500 (@human3500) reported

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps I've always found Teksavvy to be helpful even though the need to send Rogers. Rogers does not care and I expect their end game is to get you to quit Teksavvy. Teksavvy support, via Twitter DM, is stellar. If they or you capture signal levels, it helps. Do you have cable TV?

  • JuicyBrownn
Jack of all trades (@JuicyBrownn) reported

@RogersHelps your app doesn’t work + I have been waiting for an answer on the chat box for about 1h. Same happened yesterday. Can you fix this?

  • craig_worboys
    Crag (@craig_worboys) reported

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Might need a new modem or router. Had the same issue happen and it is like pulling teeth to try to get a company to admit there is a hardware problem.

  • David_Moscrop
    David Moscrop (@David_Moscrop) reported

@tonih_78 @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps We just got a new line — they left the junction box open for days. Then it got worse. Truly stunning ****.

  • TexTexington
    Tex Texington (@TexTexington) reported

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps I had that happen and the (subcontracted) Rogers tech came and replaced all of the connectors and fittings going into the house - problem solved - it sounds like you are getting lazy tech not doing their job

  • LisatheHoff
    Lisa Heckbert (@LisatheHoff) reported

@fivefortheDr @RogersHelps Rogers called John yesterday trying to sell him on their mobile service on top of our Rogers Cable. Boy did they get an earful!

  • stephen_marano
    Stephen A. Marano 🇺🇦 (@stephen_marano) reported

@wickdchiq @TheHillTimes @Rogers Damn paywall. Is your article on the Bad and ****** website?
