@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

@ShawInfo needs to sell @FreedomMobile at a discount. They have neglected the network. It's unacceptable that in this day and age rain interrupts mobile data.

Today's #rogersoutage is yet another reason the government needs to divest @FreedomMobile from any sale of @ShawInfo. While all @Rogers brands including #chatr #fido are down, freedom customers have service because it's a separate network still.

@CM02051985 @smFISHMAN @ShawInfo Enter your info, it might redirect you to the Network. I get a Rogers pop up to enter my info, that might just be how it works for Shaw.

@Shawhelp I see you doing work on your lines in Westmount, Edmonton, and my service has been cut out every 10 minutes, making working from home incredibly challenging. Any plans to reimburse people for these outages when you choose to do work during most people’s workdays?

So, @shawhelp, if there has been an outage for two mornings in a row because it is "complex", do we get a break on our bill? We are not getting what we paid for.

@Shawhelp Very dissapointing service, is it the customers job to remind you to update the page? There still isn't service it's been over 14 hours now. There wasn't any bad weather or anything. What's the process to cancel the service. As I will be filing a complaint with the CRTC as well.

@ShawInfo why can't you keep service for the #Edmonton #yeg today. We better see a credit for the inconveniences.

@Shawhelp I'm finding this issue very frustrating. We loose internet and TV connectivity at least 12-15 times per day. Spending an insane amount of time on hold with technical service. Three times I've had to hang up for various reasons. Tried online but because of our connection no go.

@Shawhelp I called your tech support earlier today for some help with my VOIP service for my business. I didnt catch his name, but he was kind and patient with me, and was a great help. I wanted to spread some kindness on twitter today - and say thank you.
