Shaw Issues Reports Near Burlington, Ontario

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Burlington and nearby locations:

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

  • AlsoKnownAs_AA Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

  • mgamble Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Oakville, Ontario

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.

  • DelroyDyer89 Delroy Dyer 🇻🇨🇨🇦 (@DelroyDyer89) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Today's #rogersoutage is yet another reason the government needs to divest @FreedomMobile from any sale of @ShawInfo. While all @Rogers brands including #chatr #fido are down, freedom customers have service because it's a separate network still.

@Shawhelp no internet in Forest Heights Edmonton. Issues I should be aware of?

  • SoggySocket SoggySocket (@SoggySocket) reported

@ShawInfo how many weeks does it take your “technicians” to fix my internet and tv… two weeks now and you still say “we’re working on it” while everyone else I know has theirs working… like what’re they doing out there comparing who’s got a smaller ****?

  • grafenauer Graf (@grafenauer) reported

@shawhelp I’m having issues with my router. West St. Paul area. Consistently flashing orange. Tried unplugging from AC power and unplugging Coax no success with either, what’s the next step?

  • pgrundle Pat Grundle (@pgrundle) reported

@Shawhelp Once again Shaw the service is down in White Rock, BC.

  • viperz1182 Viperz (@viperz1182) reported

Internet issues! @ShawInfo you charge so much for such an unreliable network! So until they resolve it no streams for me 😩

  • macvfx mat x (@macvfx) reported

Hey @Shawhelp please fix! During the great heat dome incident grandma was taken to the hospital. Alive but barely. Now in a home. We transferred phone line to cell. But instead of $0 it is costing her $30/month. Hate to complain but we talked to someone to fix in Oct. Not fixed!

  • canmoreman Peter Kieren 🌈 (@canmoreman) reported

@soloadventurer @Crackmacs @Shawhelp BlueCurve TV is experiencing a national outage. Been on hold for over an hour to express my displeasure.

  • KeeperOfSheep East meets West (@KeeperOfSheep) reported from Edmonton, Alberta

@TELUS with @Shawhelp adding #ShawBlueCurve to #Firestick, isn't it time you unblock #PikTV from running on devices that clearly can support the app

  • PatWhite1984 Pat White (@PatWhite1984) reported

@ShawInfo fix your damn cable! 2 days of this bullshit

  • cdwcalgary CatherineW (@cdwcalgary) reported

@soloadventurer @Crackmacs @Shawhelp Shaw website says the problem is with Blue curve. I have older boxes which might be why mine is working
