@bramabramson @Mark_Goldberg @Bell @Rogers @TELUS @Videotron @ShawInfo The problem today is mostly on inter-carrier calls, so if calls can be routed without using those trunks it would be a big win. I think I’m going to write a follow up post this week with a primer on PSTN routing.

@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS @ShawInfo No, I’m only talking about fiber in the ground. It needs to be treated like a utility, not like a competitive service. We don’t need to rip up streets twice and run multiple cables to each home. And if the government is funding it, it 💯 percent needs to be open access.
-
Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported from Toronto, Ontario
@Mark_Goldberg @ShawInfo Good for people in AB & B.C. that can and want to bundle. But not focused on the underserved or accessibility. Have to have a fixed service, qualify. And accept zoned plan limitations. If you followed the Wireless Industry Review closely @TD_Canada these were some of key points.

@ShawInfo do you know that the cable in the Crossing at Rivers Edge are is not working right. It keeps freezing up. Restarting the blucurve and the tv box doesn't solve it.

Never Give Up (@DaleMacLean1) reported
@Shawhelp I spent an hour online with waiting and trying to get help. I was given a number to call, after over an hour on the phone and 3 different departments which knew nothing of the previous conversation on my day off getting nowhere. I called Telus who did it in 14 minutes.

B Madsen (@BMadasHell) reported
@Shawhelp I already dealt with your customer service supervisor this morning and I don't need to go hide into a DM because you don't want the public to know how much you don't value your long time loyal customers by allowing them to upgrade while in a contract.

Whattaninja (@MarthThePaladin) reported
@oiler_country @Shawhelp Yep, super slow getting like 3Mb/s I pay for over 300.
