@Shawhelp @ShawInfo I just waited an hour and forty five minutes on hold after being told at the beginning that the wait time was between 35 and 45 minutes. This is the third time I’ve called in the last three days with extended wait time and shitty service. Can’t wait for @TELUS

Tina Gillis (@morningtroll) reported
@Shawhelp Thanks, but a drive around my neighbourhood found about 8 shaw trucks, a large spooling truck and several other large utility trucks converging around a large hole. I suspect that might be the source of the issue.

Kayle Clark (@kaclk) reported
All I’ve been able to get from @Shawhelp on the phone was that there’s an outage in southeast Edmonton and they’re investigating. Pretty bad time for that to happen given all the people working at home.

@Shawhelp I'm in NW Calgary and haven't had internet in 25 hours.. We have reset the router a million times. Is there an outage?
-
Kayle Clark (@kaclk) reported
Especially in the age of covid, internet is a required utility. That @Shawhelp hasn’t given any information or any ETA on a fix 2 hours after a problem (and it’s actually 2.5 hours since my internet went out) is very troubling. It’s definitely bad customer service.
-
PK (@10piepiek) reported
@Shawhelp @Shawhelp I sent a DM with the information a while ago and I have not received a response. My internet is down again and this is becoming very frustrating I need Wi-Fi for work and I have a lot of important meetings to attend

@Shawhelp How about updating the outage page. An hour has passed and all it reads is “problem detected”. Every time I’ve seen an outage page it shows no info and then all of sudden it reads problem solved. What a terrible system to keep customers updated with this many working from home
