Eric Goodwin (@auxonic) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@TELUS I support government owned and operated infrastructure because the big telcos like you refuse to invest in it. You’re looking for a handout and to that I say “shove off”
-
David McGuffin (@mcguffindavid) reported from Chelsea, Quebec@perreaux I ultimately quit Bell mobility and went to Telus for a variety of reasons which could be summed up as “I really didn’t feel like they gave a crap if I was a customer or not.” So far Telus feels more attentive. Kind of like the difference between Air Canada and WestJet.

Paul Atkinson 🇨🇦 (@Paulysworld) reported from Gatineau, Quebec@mikesbloggity @jkenney @shandro It's their plan to privatize for $ healthcare. They only care about $ & the wealthy. They gut AB healthcare, fire 11k during a pandemic, refuse to shut down, go MIA, & will "suddenly" come up with a "private sector" (Telus health) solution... this is skulduggery they're Ghouls.

Vivek Dehejia (@vdehejia) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@TELUSsupport Thanks, nope I didn't transfer this and got it from Telus last fall. Worked fine till this glitch today. But just had a friend call me and it's working again now. So I assume it was perhaps network congestion or something else temporary. Anyway, all good now!
-

-
Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@Ottawa_Biker @OC_Transpo Normally I don't have any issues in the tunnels until this past week and late week before. So strange. The St Laurent Mall Telus network usually picks me up no problem. Maybe I should try that one too. 🤔
-

Will O'Neill (@wtoneill) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@TELUS should market a home security service that blocks the daily ads I receive from Telus for their home security service.
-
antpepe (@antpepe) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@tleehumphrey @TELUS It will be good, the working from anywhere needs more bandwidth. This will help people increasing their cellphone speeds. Businesses need to recover.
-
Paul McGuire (@mcguirp) reported from Ottawa, OntarioWhen told we will move to another company after our contract with @telus is over @TELUSsupport responded, this has nothing tobdovwith customer retention. I thought everything had to do with #CustomerService - there needs to be a better way!
-
ambivalent_one (@ambivalent_one) reported from Ottawa, OntarioHi @madebygoogle I love my Pixel 6 Pro but it's by far the phone with the worst signal strength I've had in my area. @koodo and @TELUS both have low signal normally but of the phone I've had this is the only one that has dropped calls and gone offline. I'm in the burbs.

Stefane Brunet (@StefaneBrunet) reported from Rideau Gardens, OntarioLet's put big hurt this afternoon against are hated rival Peterborough Petes this afternoon. -
Bram Abramson (@bramabramson) reported from Hull, Quebec@Mark_Goldberg @TELUS And not just normalizing for units consumed, either: also reasonable bundle allocation & a dozen other things. Dividing aggregates by aggregates is the worst approach, except all the others -- better would be to opt out of market analysis. Which apparently has perils too. #crtc
-
Eric Goodwin (@auxonic) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@human3500 @ALL_CAPS Lol... do we have an approach? Other than telus/bell looking for handouts to marginally improve poor service
-
Michael.L (@OCT_Fan) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@HeneinThorn I’m pretty happy with Virgin 🇨🇦 @virginmobilecan Though I’m thinking of going back to Virgin as TELUS has the worst policy re paying ones bill .

DP (@DPod99) reported@TELUS Your marketing team in India is out of control. We just had our agreed-upon contract canceled after we negotiated it with someone based out of Guatemala. What the heck?? Canceling a contract so someone else can try and get the commission is a crap business model!
-
Ron Couturier (@RonCouturier99) reported@jodyvance @TELUSsupport @TELUS Ok what was the problem?
-
Frank (@lastofthefranks) reportedTrying to move my Telus internet to a new apartment. Customer service quotes some absurd price. Mention I'm looking at their website and it says same service is $70/m for that location. "Thats for new customers". Telus charges more for being an existing customer?!?
-
Barca (@biubiu12) reported@MelissaLMRogers @TELUSsupport And let’s add home internet and cable… i pay $85 for home internet with Telus…. My 2 years is almost done. Currently I think I have 250 something. They offer me about $90 a month and upgrade to 1Tb which I don’t need at all. However,Rogers doesn’t service my area, so I am stuck
-
Paula the swiftie mom🩷.TAYRONTON5 (@irishdancergirl) reportedWhy is it so hard to speak to a human at @TELUS @TELUSsupport . How does a business not have a customer support phone number listed on their website . So frustrated . Just want to cancel my services now. So annoyed !!!!

Kevin miller (@originalkmiller) reported@Skyla_SkyDancer @RiseOfAlberta Will telcos not want Alberta consumers? They'll cut us off because ... why? But sure. Let's imagine that Bell, Rogers, and Telus all cut off their service for some random reason. I guess there's always Starlink until the US telcos fill the gap or we develop our own telcos. The same can be said for power. Most Alberta power is generated in Alberta. I guess companies could decide to shut down, but why? And their equipment would still be here, and the natural gas. The new gov't could step in and operate them. Cutting off Alberta would cause trouble for the electricity grid, so it is unlikely to happen unless we are at war. Do you think we'd separate without having a transition plan for key infrastructure? Most peaceful separations have those. We'd be foolish not to have that ready and signed. Even if Canada is super angry and refuses to sign or negotiate at all, the US would have no reason to cut us off. Finally, 16 countries use the US dollar. It isn't ideal because we don't set monetary policy. Same would be true of Canadian dollar. But, we don't manage monetary policy now. Canada spends like drunken sailors and prints money to give all over rhe world. We have no control now. At least when we are independent eventually we can develop our own currency. But not right away. Are these really the best scare tactics you have? I think if you work at it you can come up with some valid concerns instead of these strawmen.

Darla Waite 👀“EYES,WIDE OPEN! (@darla_waite) reported@MelissaLMRogers @BAB5K @TELUSsupport I pay 38. It’s with a company called fizz.. I never run out of data. I wouldn’t go back to Telus or any of them ever again.
-
Jaime Cooke (Old Greenone) Space Pirate. (@GreenoneOld) reported@cselley One thing I'm happy about? Starlink just screwed Bell and Telus. They wait till public outcry causes the provinces to gift them cable infrastructure instead of building it themselves. Now the same ppl can just buy starlink and never have to deal with our protected oligopolies.
-
LaserGuy: Every Silver Lining Has a Cloud Arnd It. (@GunFarce) reported@Thundercattttt0 @TruthFringe @BlueJays Ya, Telus just sent me an offer for 25gb and cell service for $25 a month.

The Original What's Going On (@lakecitygirl) reported@FixitCanada @5dme81 Probably really for an AI centre. For some reason Telus never has to really pay for anything.
