Please bring this up to management - Telus tech support has already acknowledged the issue and now we’d like to see it resolved. Keep us posted with steps your taking to resolve it.

But the core claims driving the marches (water grid drain + waste heat baking the city) still don’t match the actual engineering. These aren’t traditional evaporative data centres. Telus/Westbank designs use closed-loop liquid cooling—a sealed system that recirculates the same fluid, like a car radiator. Result: dramatically lower water use (company target: up to 90% less than conventional air-cooled facilities) and near-zero ongoing evaporation for the primary loop. At 150 W Georgia, the heat isn’t vented to the street. It’s transferred into Creative Energy’s district steam plant to help heat 200+ downtown buildings and cut natural-gas demand. That’s the opposite of “warming the city.” Protests highlight real questions about scale, power, and process. Those deserve scrutiny.
