Vince Gibbons (@vince_gibbons) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador@oskeremmie @Bell @TELUS Funny enough the night before last I took a drive up signal hill, parked, picked up my phone and “5G”. Then 2 seconds later it switched back to LTE… thought my phone was on the blink.
-
Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (@RNC_PoliceNL) reported from Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove, Newfoundland and LabradorPlease do not use the listed general inquiry number until Telus/Koodo have restored services. John Ryan (@VintageJohnny79) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and LabradorThanks @TELUS @TELUSsupport for the help. I followed your instructions for call back. You have called back and I have since been on hold for over 30 minutes. Great system you got going there. 👏
-
Salty Sea Girl (@GottabeKD1267) reported from Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador@KarlDHarrison @dawnpassmore @brianlilley What? Get back in your lane. Do you think some outfit, let’s say Telus, wants to use your song in an ad campaign for a product you don’t endorse - so they can? Don’t be stupid. Artists own their music. Venues using the music in the background must be registered with Socan.
-
BruBaker (@ToddGBaker) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador@OrussellRussell @SamsungMobile After some troubleshooting I found the issue only appeared while on the cellular network. Put phone into plane mode for a few hours and now phone is back to normal. Must contact Telus.

-
bcevaj (@bcevaj) reported@TELUSsupport May's credit was for ‘no dial tone' issue. The current voicemail outage was a brand new failure that took 3 agents to fix. I am now denied compensation for a separate failure.#Telus ignored my DM. Ticket 11622008 and REF-260617 #Telus #CustomerServic

𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑙𝑦 𝐵𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑠ℎ 𝐶𝑜𝑙𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑖𝑎𝑛 (@BCFriendlyTodd) reported@jodyvance @TELUS It's trouble when it's trouble. Customer service requires weeks now somehow.
-
Dave (@TheOnlyRealDac) reported@JonFraserTF @TELUS Bell, Rogers, and Telus, plus their cheap alternatives, all owned by the big 3... All suck. The Canadian market has no competition. I've used every provider, and have had **** customer service at all of them.
-
Joel - coffee/acc (@JoelDeTeves) reportedHe's right, but letting Cohere and Telus grift taxpayers isn't going to fix it
-
Cory Syvenky 🇨🇦 (@cowtowncor) reported@witoldi @TELUS Still very unstable during primetime world cup matches. Horrible timing.
-
Ehrmantraut Capital (@EhrmantrautCap_) reportedO-RAN is the future, and AmpliTech Group $AMPG is well-positioned to become a massive winner in it. The market TAM of O-RAN was only $2.8 billion in 2024, but is expected to grow rapidly to $48 billion by 2035, implying a CAGR of almost 30% from 2024 to 2035. $AMPG's proprietary Massive MIMO 64T64R O-RAN radios and best of the industry LNAs are of importance for the O-RAN buildout. We already know from the Telus article that they will need 30,000 AmpliTech radios for their O-RAN buildout until 2029, which could generate a cumulative revenue of atleast $300 million for $AMPG until 2029 (excluding service, installation and maintenance fees that AmpliTech can charge). CEO Maqbool stated in the last earnings call that new purchase orders will be announced in the next couple of months from multiple major MNOs. Traditional RAN is fading and O-RAN is gaining momentum. $AMPG is ready for the structural change.

PsudoMike 🇨🇦 (@PsudoMike) reported@KerrGordon Not typically — SIM cards are separate from the device. The phone connects to the network via the SIM (or eSIM). Telus framing it as hardware doesn't change that it's a mandatory access fee.
-
Salman (@salmanesmaili) reportedHey @TELUS @TELUSsupport Today I spent over 50 minutes on the phone just to add ONE channel to my TV package. It’s 2026. We have AI agents, autonomous vehicles, and instant digital banking. Yet a basic account change still requires nearly an hour with customer service. This isn’t a technology problem—it’s a customer experience problem. Do better. #TelecomMonopoly #LackOfCompetition Cc: @CRTCeng
-
Dan Harris (@danharriscan) reported@JonFraserTF @WitchsBeFlockin @TELUS They all like it when people bundle because it's harder to ditch them if one of the three services goes to ****. They used to compete on better customer service. Now, they DGAF because for every customer they lose due to bad service they gain from someone else's bad service.

R. Weyland (@WeylandR) reported@TELUS @TELUSsupport Hey Telus. You guys are now worse than an airline. Your product (internet in this case) is less reliable than checked bags and now you wait longer on hold to resolve issue. And likely an average of 4 phone calls and 2 technician visits to solve the problem.
