  • spencerbennett1 Spencer Bennett (@spencerbennett1) reported from Parkland County, Alberta

I called @TELUSsupport to make a change on my account. The recording encouraged me to use the Telus App or website to make the changes, and warned that I could be charged a fee to talk to a real person. Is it standard practice to charge customers to talk to customer service?

  • LauraBellaT LauraBella Custom Cakery (@LauraBellaT) reported from Stony Plain, Alberta

@TELUS get your crap together - @StonyPlainAB residents can’t work efficiently from home with not being able send/receive emails! #wifisucks #usingupmydata

  • clairepalmster claire (@clairepalmster) reported

@Marisa_Ingemi the problem is you can't - the way Canadian telecom is set up is we essentially have three companies to choose from, Bell, Rogers and Telus. It's nearly impossible to switch companies and because of this these three companies pretty much just do whatever the hell they want.

  • clutchcanuck Clutch Canuck (@clutchcanuck) reported

@bell, you ******** will never see a dollar from me ever again - just switched my phone contract over to Telus #TSN1040

  • BobKronbauer Bob Kronbauer (@BobKronbauer) reported

So a blocked number just called. I picked up. "Hello sir, this is David White from the Telus Phone Company. Are you sitting down? You have won a prize." "Wow! I never win anything! What did I win?" "550,000." "Dollars?" "Yes, $550,000, we will deliver it to you today."

  • dylan_random Dylan (@dylan_random) reported

@danellew Jeez, now that you mention it, my email address is still with my mom's acct. as well. I switched to telus for a couple years and realized then that I never did switch it to my Shaw account. l thought then how absurd it is to be tethered to a brand by an email address in ~2014

  • giromonsale Giromon (@giromonsale) reported

@TELUS You never achieve 150mbs upload and Download. I CHECK with Telus Own App. So don’t believe advertising, I subscribe to Telus Fibreoptic network. Telus needs to come clean.

  • ChristiansonAmy Dr. Amy Christianson (@ChristiansonAmy) reported

@oiler_country @srheth Scott - do they do throttling like the Telus hub does? When ours was working (before that lunatic knocked down our tower), we were having brutal speeds at certain times of the day when more people were online - Telus says to protect the integrity of the cell system

  • ty_zeman Tyler Zeman (@ty_zeman) reported

@MarkHolmes1326 I’ve had good experiences with Koodo. They use all Telus towers so coverage isn’t a problem.

  • LoveMeLoveMyWpg Winnipeg Girl (@LoveMeLoveMyWpg) reported

Hey @TELUS want to know how to make sure someone will never consider switching to you? Call them two more times within a week with the same sales pitch after someone very politely said they were not interested and to take them off the call list. #stopharrassingme

  • bk656 Aaron Burgess (@bk656) reported

@ChrisFaber39 @Bell Not a Bell subscriber and I’ll never go to them. Join me at Telus!
