I called @TELUSsupport to make a change on my account. The recording encouraged me to use the Telus App or website to make the changes, and warned that I could be charged a fee to talk to a real person. Is it standard practice to charge customers to talk to customer service?

@TELUS : you have a golden opportunity to take Shaw’s customers in the older areas of Sherwood Park. They can’t/won’t address infrastructure problems leading to poor internet. The second you run fibre, we’re there.

@VoosieVooters @Xplornet We fall back on our mobile data and tether to get though. Thank God my bill cycle is about to reset because we're close to going over. Again. Luckily that is the "unlimited" plan from Telus that just gets slowed down. Rural living!

@marian_crow @TELUS Ummm where in Canada doesn’t have clean water or hasn’t already recieved government funding to help pay for the cleanup.. on the other hand we are the only first world nation that doesn’t have high speed internet everywhere.. just curious as to what’s to be ashamed of here?
