@TELUSsupport Thanks, nope I didn't transfer this and got it from Telus last fall. Worked fine till this glitch today. But just had a friend call me and it's working again now. So I assume it was perhaps network congestion or something else temporary. Anyway, all good now!

Which is interesting. Because that could mean that Telus (or Bell they share infra) subleases circuits from Rogers. Which would then affect their networks too when Rogers went down. Or it’s just a funky coincidence. (Those happen too)

@Scribulatora Nope. Fed Gov can't maintain physical plant operations. Besides - the physical infrastructure ship sailed decades ago, and there's far more resiliency built into the sector than this latest outage shows (Bell, Rogers, Telus, Shaw). Let's wait for the report on what went wrong.

We cut our ties to Rogers in 2008 when they still had video stores where you could pay your bills at the counter. Never went back and never would. Telus has never had any problems and always have great customer service every day They also have the best cell towers/optik in Canada
