@VOCMNEWS letting @TELUS mobile customers in NL know they likely can NOT receive calls from land-lines this morning. Cell to cell service is working and making outbound calls works. 1-866-558-2273 just rings and no answer, so best to call *611 from your Telus phone for tech supt

  • vince_gibbons
Vince Gibbons (@vince_gibbons) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

@oskeremmie @Bell @TELUS Funny enough the night before last I took a drive up signal hill, parked, picked up my phone and “5G”. Then 2 seconds later it switched back to LTE… thought my phone was on the blink.

  • nicolek1989
Nicole Kearsey (@nicolek1989) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

@TELUS @TELUSsupport I pay for unlimited data and despite that, I still can’t get anything to work this morning. I’ve had nothing but trouble since I switched back to Telus. Help!

  • ComedyFan1981
George Feeny (@ComedyFan1981) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

@lorilydialove @TELUS I’d gently hint that you work for a media company and it would suck if they received bad publicity

  • ToddGBaker
BruBaker (@ToddGBaker) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

@OrussellRussell @SamsungMobile After some troubleshooting I found the issue only appeared while on the cellular network. Put phone into plane mode for a few hours and now phone is back to normal. Must contact Telus.

  • NEWFFEDUP
Pat Hickey (@NEWFFEDUP) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

@__Janesss @benjtravers Why give a blank check to bell Rogers and Telus. They make enough off taxpayers to be forced to improve cell service. Government boondoggle to billion dollar companies

  • VintageJohnny79
John Ryan (@VintageJohnny79) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

Thanks @TELUS @TELUSsupport for the help. I followed your instructions for call back. You have called back and I have since been on hold for over 30 minutes. Great system you got going there. 👏

  • nicolek1989
Nicole Kearsey (@nicolek1989) reported from St. John's, Newfoundland and Labrador

Anyone with @TELUS having trouble? Can’t get anything to call out.

  • GottabeKD1267
Salty Sea Girl (@GottabeKD1267) reported from Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador

@KarlDHarrison @dawnpassmore @brianlilley What? Get back in your lane. Do you think some outfit, let’s say Telus, wants to use your song in an ad campaign for a product you don’t endorse - so they can? Don’t be stupid. Artists own their music. Venues using the music in the background must be registered with Socan.

  • JodyWarren1
Nine Finger (@JodyWarren1) reported from Paradise, Newfoundland and Labrador

@rbrtmllr After 19 years with Bell I finally had enough and turned to Telus. 5 years in and relatively happy with the service

  • RNC_PoliceNL
Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (@RNC_PoliceNL) reported from Logy Bay-Middle Cove-Outer Cove, Newfoundland and Labrador

Please do not use the listed general inquiry number until Telus/Koodo have restored services. Telus and Koodo cell customers can still access the RNC through 911 in case of an emergency. #ThankYou 3/3

  • UnkleHack69
    Uncle Hack (@UnkleHack69) reported

The time to strike Canadian oligarchs like Telus and Rogers is now AMERICA!! All you’d have to offer is a $60 unlimited data within North America and you’d wipe Rogers and Telus off the map. Thus opening up the internet scheme they run. I don’t even care if the coverage is that great, I can’t even get 5g service on the plains of Sask with @Rogers dog **** service. INVADE THE INTERNET AND CELL MARKET @Verizon IN CANADA YOULL HAVE AN OVER NIGHT CUSTOMER

  • Real_Insights_
    Real Insights (@Real_Insights_) reported

@MelissaLMRogers @TELUSsupport I managed to get down to $32/mo with fido. Not unlimited but way more data than I'd ever use. I was with Telus for a very long time, they never offered any good deals. Just watch for good deals and make the switch.

  • PerspectiveMg
    Mr. Green (@PerspectiveMg) reported

@MelissaLMRogers @TELUSsupport Telus is the first problem, always Freedom Mobile or Public Mobile(Telus subbrand - if live outside freedom subscriber zone)

  • Zerquetch
    Patrick GK (@Zerquetch) reported

@Martyupnorth 21 years I was with them. They would never call back on my "do you still want my business" calls and e-mails. Then tried to send me a bill for $29 after changing the service. Terrible service. Telus at least has better coverage in the ******, remote places I work for time to time

@MelissaLMRogers @TELUSsupport I pay 60/month for 100gb from Telus. Call them and tell them you’ll cancel

  • Social_Moi

@jnbella @TELUS Yes, it's exhausting! Everytime my deal ends, I have to call and say I want to cancel, go through a long rigmarole with the agent until they offer me something decent.

  • CherieBeneteau
    Unacceptable Cherie B (@CherieBeneteau) reported

But yet the phone service providers Bell rogers telus etc are silent We are paying close attention to who's silent that shouldn't be

  • yegventures
    Lincoln Ho | Yegventures | 何令恒 🇻🇦🇨🇦🇭🇰 (@yegventures) reported

@Social_Moi @TELUSsupport If you have home issues, call 310-MYTV. For mobility issues, dial 611 from a TELUS cell phone. If you want a guaranteed Canadian agent, use the French options as you'll get an agent in Montreal (home service agents work there too).

  • HDergler
    Mortoshi (@HDergler) reported

@wongkarwasian most Canadian service providers collude to increase the level of service beyond what the average consumer needs so that can charge upward of $100 a month for something that should be extremely basic telus wants like $110 a month for 500mbps internet for instance, but most people would still be ok with 100mbps or less I'm many cases
