@Ani1u7 @Rogers @Bell @TELUS I have a sharing plan that's grandfathered so extra lines are cheap. We never go over 10GB combined but I like the cushion. I always bought phones outright but not last time and now flagships are crazy$. Approx $100/mo w/add ons (voice to text vcmail, etc).

Tongues companies will take advantage of their customers. Come on @TELUS treat your customers with a modicum of respect. Then they go to a paperless bill, without making their customers aware. Roll over the data, #Telus stop cheating your loyal customers!

Disappointed with #Telus #CustomerService service. Was offered a great deal so I spent 30 minutes on the phone to only hear their sales office was incorrect about the deal.

@AlexanderDKB @peternowak 💯 percent agree. Telus admitted as much in their testimony- the competition isn’t in the RAN, it’s in the core. The network core and the functionality it provides is where an MVNO thrives or dies.

Oh man, someone on Reddit just reminded me of when Telus used to have their MiKE network back in the early 2000s. I remember some of my friends back in high school had those cell phones that had a built-in walkie-talkie. They looked so convenient to have by buzzing your friends.

2/2 even though it was $0.00 that is what companies like Bell & TELUS etc usually charge on the credit card at first to see if it is valid always check everything daily through online banking - it is good I caught it - but sucks now b/c I have to change all my automatic payments

I even said no one will call me back. I have never seen such bad controls between departments or any accountability from @adtcanada. This is probably the worst service I have received for a simple request to fulfill my order. Will anyone NOW listen to my concern @TELUS

@Ani1u7 @TELUSsupport For sure Telus is wrong.. Turning off Wi-Fi turns the feature off because it's something that has to be supported by the cellular network. I don't know what OS he was running. He's our IT consultant so he may be on a beta or something

@georganneb @char_lawyer @Bell @Rogers @TELUS Georganne, nobody dislikes those guys more than me but the systems were not designed for this. Same for internet. It’s like a water pipe to service an apartment complex is a foot in diameter but not if everybody is always home and taking showers simultaneously. Get used to it.

@TELUSsupport @TELUS I have been trying to upgrade my phone since 4 days. You automated prices shows 153+taxes for iPhone 11 Pro. I won’t pay that. There’s a technical issue with your chat box. I need a new phone in the next 3days. Help me out if you can.

@malcolm8 @TELUS @Novusnow Lol. Ok you can find out for yourself. I had NOVUS for 7 years, and I loved that service. Best I’ve ever had. The fastest they could give me tho, was 300 because they don’t do faster in non-residential buildings, so I switched to Telus. I hate Telus but I got the 1 gig now.
-
David Appleby

@TELUSsupport Yet you make everyone share the same master password to access your services. Maybe I want to allow someone else in the residence the ability to watch Telus TV on their iPad without being able to change the service.

@malcolm8 @TELUS problem is, Novus doesnt offer 1 gigabit in residential buildings, but Telus does
-
RaiderMax23
(@MaximusTrajan23) reported
@malcolm8 @TELUS @Novusnow The one gig plan is only for buildings that are non-residential, NOVUS doesn’t have the finer optics access in residential buildings in Vancouver. Also, I have Telus 1 gig, and I get 900Mbps with my VPN on. But NOVUS is best customer service in town.

@apihtawikosisan @TELUS We’ve been on Shaw Blue Curve for roughly $80 dollars. It’s been good and serves our purposes. It has been a bit slow these past few days on our phones. But I don’t know how much of that is a network issue or a modem issue. Haven’t had a minute to troubleshoot yet.
-
Nadina Ray

@apihtawikosisan @TELUS Telecom is a friggen oligopoly disguised as choice. All the little companies are bought up by the big players (just like our damn utilities here in AB) so we are gouged for internet no matter what it seems. Canada has obscenely high cellular/internet fees.

@KatyaAndYourDad I had koodoo for 2 years out here in Alberta and it was great. They were much cheaper than all other alternatives and it just worked well all the time. Working with the online only part was easy and trouble free. I would do it again. Koodoo IS Telus though so check a coverage map
