@koodo @TELUS is fooling people with hidden charges that you are able to see only once you check your bill and find it to be $200 $190 and when you contact customer care, they will say we understand but won't be able to provide u with clarification #koodo #TELUS #worstconnection

  • createdbyrcw

Given how many people I know who cancelled their Bell service, their Rogers service or their Telus service, it is surprising that I know any of this

@TTChelps @DemandAccess hey @TELUSsupport @TELUS please consider finally letting your customers access phone network coverage in the TTC tunnels, if an emergency were to happen i would want to be able to contact family and us not having that option is sad and disappointing 😬

Every time I call @TELUS @TELUSsupport I always get 150% customer service. Heather was amazing this morning, she couldn’t fix the problem right away but found a solution and called me back right away. I want to thank you TELUS for 20 years of great customer service

  • OtarineMusic

@lav_sunrise Yeah it seriously sucks. Even if you go third party (I’m with Teksavvy for internet) the service is still distributed by Rogers/Bell/Telus/Shaw.

@Noellenarwhal @fordnation @SylviaJonesMPP Tonight I contacted Telus private telemedicine. I’ve been a member since they started. 7+ years ago. There was a 2 to 3 hour wait. Normal wait time has never been more than 30 minutes. This is the goal, for private healthcare to proliferate.

  • GeorgeStroe3

@TTChelps I see, did not know, apologies. I am on Telus. Will do that, connect to the wifi. Did not know where to get off and was using google maps to guide me. But of course you need wifi for that. Fortunately the trains come out from the tunnel after Bloor and I had signal again

  • mgamble
Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@AlexanderDKB @peternowak 💯 percent agree. Telus admitted as much in their testimony- the competition isn’t in the RAN, it’s in the core. The network core and the functionality it provides is where an MVNO thrives or dies.

Is data safe with Big Tech Consulting firms owned by Indian Moguls or Canadian Companies outsourcing their Tech support in India like Telus and Bell? This is a national security problem. #cybersecurity

  • debbyhenry

Disappointed with #Telus #CustomerService service. Was offered a great deal so I spent 30 minutes on the phone to only hear their sales office was incorrect about the deal.

@AnthonyFarnell Telus has a service that blocks those calls. You can create an approved list but anyone else has to enter a code.

  • RyanCartiers

@TELUS Why does a call to @telusmobility require specifying mobil a 2nd time? Please correct redundancy, problem identified & feedback given to #customerservice over a year ago. Listening to frontline employees pays dividends in business.

  • HDergler
    Mortoshi (@HDergler) reported

@wongkarwasian most Canadian service providers collude to increase the level of service beyond what the average consumer needs so that can charge upward of $100 a month for something that should be extremely basic telus wants like $110 a month for 500mbps internet for instance, but most people would still be ok with 100mbps or less I'm many cases

  • RishabG61584484
    Dexter.eth (@RishabG61584484) reported

@canadiancailin You’re sitting in a small town in Canada, using Rogers, Fido, or Telus internet to search Wikipedia about an incident, then acting like you know better than your own government and elected representatives, while accusing others of fake outrage and crying.

  • RealityoftheSit

@MelissaLMRogers @TELUSsupport first of all the $25 is USD, and you can find plenty of very cheap cellphone plans in Canada. You want to finance an expensive device through your plan and that is why you pay over $100. Telus is known to NOT be a budget provider - they have Koodo and Public Mobile you idiot

  • yeg_sewer_rat
    Duncan Magroin (Mug/Shot) (@yeg_sewer_rat) reported

@Martyupnorth I have had Rogers, Bell and Telus ; they all have terrible customer service until you call to cancel, then they have plans that save you lots.

  • originalkmiller
    Kevin miller (@originalkmiller) reported

@Skyla_SkyDancer @RiseOfAlberta Will telcos not want Alberta consumers? They'll cut us off because ... why? But sure. Let's imagine that Bell, Rogers, and Telus all cut off their service for some random reason. I guess there's always Starlink until the US telcos fill the gap or we develop our own telcos. The same can be said for power. Most Alberta power is generated in Alberta. I guess companies could decide to shut down, but why? And their equipment would still be here, and the natural gas. The new gov't could step in and operate them. Cutting off Alberta would cause trouble for the electricity grid, so it is unlikely to happen unless we are at war. Do you think we'd separate without having a transition plan for key infrastructure? Most peaceful separations have those. We'd be foolish not to have that ready and signed. Even if Canada is super angry and refuses to sign or negotiate at all, the US would have no reason to cut us off. Finally, 16 countries use the US dollar. It isn't ideal because we don't set monetary policy. Same would be true of Canadian dollar. But, we don't manage monetary policy now. Canada spends like drunken sailors and prints money to give all over rhe world. We have no control now. At least when we are independent eventually we can develop our own currency. But not right away. Are these really the best scare tactics you have? I think if you work at it you can come up with some valid concerns instead of these strawmen.

@RogersHelps Shaw legacy client. Need a technician to assess and repair broken phone line. Chat booted me out after 3h wait saying as Shaw customer they couldn’t help (even though I access through Shaw link). poor experience and paying for a broken service now. Telus may be best

  • GreenoneOld

@cselley One thing I'm happy about? Starlink just screwed Bell and Telus. They wait till public outcry causes the provinces to gift them cable infrastructure instead of building it themselves. Now the same ppl can just buy starlink and never have to deal with our protected oligopolies.

  • PrairieEdwin
    Prairie Edwin (@PrairieEdwin) reported

You’ll want to look at Public Mobile. They are owned by Telus but cheaper and month to month. No long contract. You can change it for any month. Very flexible. No dropped calls either. Excellent coverage on the Telus network. I’ve had it 6 years now. Mine would be $40/month Cdn but it’s got lots of data. Lower priced ones too.
