My Shaw contract is up and I’m moving, new home can get Shaw fibre service. Disappointed that @Shaw will give me a deal to keep standard service but not fibre... may have to go with @Telus

  • SailorsDavid
David Martin (@SailorsDavid) reported from Pender Island, British Columbia

@TELUSBusiness I’m done with Telus, I’ve been with them for over 20 years. This latest fiasco with Telus email being down for 3 days was completely unacceptable and then to kiss and make up with a $10 discount is an insult. Find the missing e-transfers!! I’m going to Shaw

  • MetalBlonde
Karina “Determined Synth Music Plays” Halle (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

The excuses she gave me were pretty stupid IMO. I have concerns but they weren’t enough for her. That’s what I get for using Telus Health. Luckily my own doctor, who is on the mainland, will arrange for it if I ask (he’s also the one who told me to get a hysterectomy which is 🙌🏻)

  • MetalBlonde
Karina Halle (on hiatus) (@MetalBlonde) reported from Ganges, British Columbia

We’ve been stuck using Telus internet via cell towers until this gets sorted out, and it works only half the time. @shawhelp told us we would have internet in September. Then in October. Then in Nov, Dec, Jan...now @shawhelp is saying they’ll cancel unless we pay $5K

  • Langfordman
Dave Morse (@Langfordman) reported from North Cowichan, British Columbia

So I’ve had no email service from #Telus since Wednesday. They aren’t answering service phone calls #telussupport When you ask them tough questions they ghost you. No solid answer of their email will be up #poorcustomerservice

"[The new @Telus fee] comes just as new [#CRTC] rules are set to kick in preventing telecommunications companies from charging customers when they cancel, change or activate plans... in a move meant to make it easier for consumers to switch internet and cellphone plans."🤔

@JonFraserTF @TELUS Jon, try Public Mobile a division within Telus. Way cheaper than big 3 for same service

  • SamaxKT
    Kathleen Kenny (@SamaxKT) reported

@JonFraserTF @TELUS Yes, had to cancel because of non-existent customer service.

  • imaginet
    Bob Bunting (@imaginet) reported

@JonFraserTF @TELUS First rule is never talk to customer service, ever! Call the Telus Loyalty department directly. They will help you with whatever issue you have and you will probably end up with a better plan for cheaper as a result. This is common knowledge. Spewing on X will do zero for you.

Just a little perspective here for $AMPG potential revenue through 2029. 🔮TELUS Open RAN Rollout AmpliTech Equipment Summary Planned Sites: 5,000 macro cell sites across Canada AmpliTech Equipment per Sector: 2 FDD mid-band radios Sectors per Site: 3 (standard three-sector macro tower configuration) Radios per Site: 6 (2 radios × 3 sectors) Total AmpliTech Radios Required: 30,000 (6 radios × 5,000 sites) Target Completion: 2029Revenue 💸 Estimates for AmpliTech These are approximate industry-based estimates for similar Open RAN FDD mid-band radios (pricing is not publicly disclosed and varies with volume discounts, contracts, features, and bundling). Price per Radio (USD) Total Estimated Revenue (30,000 radios) $10,000 = $300 million $15,000 = $450 million $20,000 = $600 million $25,000 = $750 million Realistic Range: $300M – $750M total potential revenue for AmpliTech from the full rollout (before costs, margins, installation, software, or support). AmpliTech has already secured multi-million dollar POs and LOIs related to TELUS, but the full 30,000-unit rollout will be phased through 2029. Revenue could also include additional products (antennas, services, etc.) beyond just the radios.

First $NVDA (detective). Then $AMZN Kuiper (detective). Now Telus (detective). $AMPG is a diamond in the rough, and Johan just dug up the part almost nobody knew. Shouldn't be a billion company already? Crazy. Go read his thread. 👀 Here's the gist of what he found in the SEC filings: The 64T64R radio that now drives ~75% of AmpliTech's revenue? They didn't spend years building that IP from scratch. They bought it. In March 2025, AMPG acquired the full IP behind its 5G O-RAN radios from a private Delaware company, Titan Crest, for $8M, $3M cash, $5M in stock. And as Johan points out: The structure is the genius part. They didn't gamble $8M on unproven tech and pray a customer would show up. The bulk of the payment only triggered once a real Tier-1 carrier placed its order, and the filings name that carrier: Telus, one of Canada's big three. They paid for the IP only after the customer was already real. For a micro-cap, that's about as low-risk as an acquisition gets. Instead of burning years and millions on R&D... AMPG bolted its real strengths. RF engineering, US-based manufacturing, certifications, onto ready-made, validated IP. Years of time-to-market, erased. And on the final milestone, AMPG owns that IP outright, plus a 10-year non-compete locking the seller out. The flagship becomes fully, exclusively theirs. The chain Johan lays out is already live: → Titan built the tech. → AMPG turned it into a made-in-USA product. → Telus is deploying it. A sub-$200M company that bought the engine of its own growth, cheaply, almost risk-free, customer already locked in. Great find, @rk8215. This is the kind of DD that actually moves the needle. 🫡 Not financial advice. I'm long $AMPG. DYOR.
