Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, QuebecI switched to @Videotron on June 8th 2021. They offered their high speed internet service, Helix with no installation fees. They gave me 2 options: - Pay for equipment upfront: $388+ tax OR - Pay $12 + tax/month for 24 months. I went with the 2nd option. But guess what?

When my bill came out on July 9th, I called customer service. They told me it was a mistake and that they would see what they could do. Lol

It doesn't make them any more profits. BAI however wants to use our data to push ads to us, so they can make money.

The cost of new towers is too high w/o a big wln network to tap into to lower fiber build costs

Steve Faguy (@fagstein) reported@psyko514 I don't know if Quebecor has said what it plans to do brand-wise. It could keep Videotron in Quebec, where it bundles wireless with wireline service, and Freedom in the rest of the country, and expand Fizz nationally as the flanker brand.
