@Videotron said this kind of thing happens (often?) & that the only option I have is to accept their “courtesy” of $75 and pay the rest otherwise i will receive late fees and eventually they will cut off my service and come get the equipment but that I would still have to pay.

@Videotron still charged me upfront $388+ tax with installation fees of $60 even though I chose to pay in $12 for 24 months. When my bill came out on July 9th, I called customer service. They told me it was a mistake and that they would see what they could do. Lol

I switched to @Videotron on June 8th 2021. They offered their high speed internet service, Helix with no installation fees. They gave me 2 options: - Pay for equipment upfront: $388+ tax OR - Pay $12 + tax/month for 24 months. I went with the 2nd option. But guess what?

Watched the game last night on SNE, and had access to it on the other Snet channels too of course I turned it off in the 3rd when they were down 4-1 in the 3rd but still. The greatest concern RE: #eSim is that #Videotron has been absolutely silent on it. The forums are filled with crisp responses - "Not available, but we'll pass it up along the chain". That's not good enough in my view. It's not cutting-edge; it's not customer-focused. 8/9

In her response, she had made clear she was not trying to minimize what I was saying, but she said that my issues were "non-issues". She followed up by saying that if I stick with @Videotron, #eSim should be supported by the time I finish my contract in 2024. Seriously? 6/9

To end this thread, I'd ask @Videotron: 1) Is there a plan to implement #eSim? Don't simply say it's not available -- we know that! The question is whether there is a plan? 2) If "yes" to #1, what is the timeline to rollout? Saying it's a "non-issue" just doesn't cut it. 9/9
