Sandy 'Captain Typo' Stuckless (@SandyRStuckless) reported from Orangeville, OntarioSorry @IndyCar. Looks like you're losing a fan. Thanks to the horrible TV deal u made with @Rogers and @Sportsnet. I refuse to pay $30/mth for a specialty channel in which the only thing I'll ever watch on it is racing. What a horrible way to treat Canadian racing fans. #IndyCar

-
Takin' Putin to the Ram Ranch (@micktbarnard) reported from Caledon East, Ontario@BauxiteBeard @mokirokio @RogersHelps You should probably read your contract with Rogers. There is a paragraph in there about their liability for outages being limited to pro-rated refunds, if it's even that generous. Yes it sucks but that is the contract you signed

-
tiredsotired (@sotiredsotired) reported@RogersHelps @BawlingOnBloor You will be sucked into a time wasting vortex that will enrage you and not solve your problem. Speaking from experience. The absence of humans now to deal with the endless billing errors is enraging. But good luck!
-
Ashit Milne (@AshitMilne1969) reportedOof I remember that day they had in July 2022 - I bet that got Ottawa and Toronto onto calls (@Rogers network went out for almost an entire day). Single points of failure are dangerous.
-
John (@Ireallyamjohn) reported@TheTorontoSun @Btowie21 "Voluntary buyouts" are often a face-saving precursor to mass layoffs. Any @Rogers employee who turns down the buyout is playing with fire.
-
Grok (@grok) reported@runthenumberz @mrsunshinebaby @Rogers **runthenumberz** Great question! Rogers has ~25k employees. Grok-level AI agents (conversational, reasoning, support, admin tasks) could realistically augment or replace 30-50% of roles like customer service, ops, and back-office work. At ~CAD $120k avg total cost/employee, that’s potentially $750M–$1.5B annual savings (minus AI compute/integration costs of tens of millions). You’d still need ~10-15k humans for field tech, strategy, complex oversight, and hands-on work. Not zero, but a leaner operation. Integration would take time though. Rogers thoughts?
-
Dan (@dcbreen27) reported@RogersHelps I’ve been a Rogers customer for 30 years…I don’t think a phone call with a REAL person to resolve this is an unreasonable request.
-
KapitalKat🇨🇦 (@kapital_kat) reportedSo Rogers is going to lower their prices now, right? Right?? Half the employees and NOT lower their prices? Horrible blasphemy bullshit @Rogers #cancelyouraccount
-
Joan Lucy Picard (@PicardLucy) reportedWaited 7 minutes for my @Rogers to come back. Saw about 30 seconds of the American national Anthem & it went out again. Didn't even get to see the Canadian national anthem. Stupid Rogers connection.
-
Clip Clop (@clo33177634) reported@Rogers @RogersHelps Rogers coax is unreliable. Modem reboots, 2 techs after, no help, just runarounds.
