@bijuleni @zamlos I've had the low speed option for years now and haven't had any issues tbh. I first had it with @FreedomMobile and now with the @Rogers infinite family plan. I also jump on wifi when traveling and usually buy a local SIM if I'm somewhere for more than 10 days.

Wait! I remember why I’m not a @RogersHelps customer! Because while the house was being built and I wanted them to run a cable line before the walls were closed so we didn’t have to drill holes in my new walls after they were finished, Rogers said they didn’t want my business!

@RogersHelps I guess I’m going to have to just guess how much data I’ve used until y’all employer’s servers are back up and running. I’m honestly so confused because my school @CentennialEDU and @Google don’t have this much service interruptions while doing server maintenance.

@RogersHelps Thank you I will. I actually don’t mind this slowed down 512kbps data speed but since it resets tomorrow and the max speed data expires tomorrow because my data resets tomorrow imma blow it all tomorrow. All 3GB of it. 😂. It shouldn’t be too hard since I’ve already used 17GB

@RogersHelps But i like knowing when 5g is down so i can call and get it fixed. Just seems to be dumbing down the process and keeping performance issues hidden. Anyways we’ve opted out. Do a better job proactively sharing this change

I’m an INSTACART gig worker and had serious issues with mobile internet Sunday after 11am PDT .. had to cancel jobs and lost income. Fun enduring effect of the @RogersHelps outage: automated verification codes are not being sent on their network today. After trying several Rogers/Fido phones we finally were able to receive GoFundMe’s code on a Vidéotron phone. If you have this issue, find a non-Rogers device.
