Takin' Putin to the Ram Ranch (@micktbarnard) reported from Caledon East, Ontario@BauxiteBeard @mokirokio @RogersHelps You should probably read your contract with Rogers. There is a paragraph in there about their liability for outages being limited to pro-rated refunds, if it's even that generous. Yes it sucks but that is the contract you signed
Rogers Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
Andrew (@PCWAndrew) reported@Rogers calls me so often to sell cell service I don’t want that it’s making me reconsider the services I do have. You should be able to remove me from marketing calls (and your third party marketing calls too).
-
Jennifer Leigh (@WriteLinesInk) reported@RogersHelps Hopefully by the same time I should be rid of shaw. With the speed that they gave me at 3495 that was slow the one that gave me at 1495 was even slower. For 9 years I had exactly the same speed from tell us through a phone line that was five times faster than the garbage
-
James MacDonald (@jimmymac6685) reportedWTF? And then she tries selling me a Roger’s credit card!! Why wait to tell me 50 mins laters that she can’t cancel my plan! Terrible service. I will not be returning! I don’t suggest ppl get @Rogers 🤮
-
LG (@LG_Toronto) reported@Rogers, your customer service is terrible! My senior mother was charged bogus roaming fees, has called several times, only to be told you have high call volumes and to call back and the agent via chat wasn't helpful at all. You're charging fraudulent fees and harassing seniors!
-
Canucks Critic (@CanucksCritic) reported@Canucks @Rogers Same Combine storyline every year: skill isn’t the question, it’s projection and mindset. Still doesn’t fix the Canucks’ bigger issue of turning “good prospects” into consistent NHL results.
-
@HolyDegenerate (@RandySaretzky) reported@RogersHelps It’s Easier to telus and change providers than get service.
-
Love My 7 Wood (@LoveMy7Wood) reportedIf you are considering (or have to due to equipment failure like me) switching from Ignite to Xfinity on @Rogers here are some things to be aware of that they do not tell you before, during or after the transition. First, a new account will be opened, independent of your previous account, and unless you call and close your previous account, you will be double billed. Second, nobody will ask you for your credit card and it won’t be transitioned from your old account so unless you go online and add it, in a month you will be getting nasty notices. Three, if you have streaming services like Crave that you buy through Rogers it will not be transferred to your new account automatically. You must call to get it added. Fourth, expect at least one of the Xfinity boxes not to work properly. I’ve done the transition now at my cottage and home and multiple service visits and equipment replacements may be necessary. Fifth, if you have Rogers/ Yahoo email or Finance accounts they don’t automatically transition and multiple phone calls may be necessary and it may take the knowledge of a supervisor to get them going again. And sixth, Rogers goes out of its way to make speaking to an actual human being virtually impossible and you have to fight with AI and may be lucky and get through to someone in a few minutes or, like me, you can waste hours and hours on hold. And finally, they are going to email you a survey on how they did. Don’t fill it in right away. Wait a few days to make sure things work and work as they should. Good luck!
-
Love My 7 Wood (@LoveMy7Wood) reported@RogersHelps I finally was able to speak with someone and my issues were all addressed.
-
mike walsh (@mikewal16285187) reported@RogersHelps I have the same device that worked fine with Ruralwave before Rogers bought them and shut them down
-
Jennifer Leigh (@WriteLinesInk) reported@RogersHelps 10 gigs in 18 days and you want to charge me more. And the plan that you sucked me into is not one offered by connecting families. Yet another case where Rogers decides to run roughshod over Canadians. Not this time. The garbage phone I have will be left with one of your stores.
