@moodyangela @dustbobgod And they will allow you to hire out for help with your cables, instead of saying they won’t touch the cables and don’t know any one they could recommend that does. We are just supposed to be able to sort it all magically with Telus

  • QuinnMellCobb
Quinn Mell-Cobb (@QuinnMellCobb) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@Shawhelp Myself and two other people (all with university educations) were unable to figure out how to install it, and now I’m paying for a service I’m not receiving. Come fix this immediately or I’m going back to @TELUS.

  • warandpeace
Andrew Ferguson (@warandpeace) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@MOOMANiBE Telus outage of some kind, it’s weirdly ‘mostly’ out but not fully ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

  • MsYouDoYou
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia

Telus knows as well as I do that I only have one other option for internet so they aren’t that motivated to provide technicians that can help with anything outside of plugging in a device. My husband had to troubleshoot for them last week.

  • bh_
b ran out of time (@bh_) reported from Mount Pleasant, British Columbia

Rogers, Telus, Bell was too many. I think we should all just stop doing business with Bell. They’re already weakened. If we can get Rogers, Telus, Bell down to 2 then that just seems like a better amount to me.

  • kerricoombs
Kerri Coombs (@kerricoombs) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia

@pattibacchus @TELUS @TELUSsupport I use Lightspeed and have been paying about $40/month for years, as a very heavy internet user. Not sure how the service is because I've almost never needed it. I replaced a modem once and they were fine. Streaming is fine but YouTube uploads are kinda slow. I'm happy with them.

@Bzubyk We all know it’s drivel damage control written by a PR hack. What it didn’t say was how they were going to remedy to situation. Probably because that cost $ & everyone knows @Telus is loathe to spend $ on much but virtue signalling PR campaigns.

  • _hudsonny

Who is better than @telus for home WiFi? Currently paying for the most expensive internet that is slow, intermittently down, and has the worst customer service.

@entwistled is CEO of @telus perhaps worst company in Canada. More interested in PR & virtue signalling than actually serving customers. Inept, bureaucratic, misleading, hopelessly horrid customer service & actually bankrupt of purpose & direction. Avoid this clown show of a co!

9/ Then start applying to legitimate platforms. Examples worth researching include: • DataAnnotation • Outlier • Appen • TELUS Digital AI Community • Scale AI ecosystem • Other verified AI evaluation/data-annotation companies But don't assume every platform accepts workers everywhere. Country, language, project demand and eligibility can change. Always check the current listing before applying. 10/ Here's something most “make money with AI” posts won't tell you: Getting accepted is NOT the same as getting consistent work. AI-training work is often project-based. Workers report differences in task availability, pay and acceptance rates across platforms and projects. So don't quit your current income source because someone showed you a $50/hour screenshot. Treat it as an opportunity until you've actually established consistent work.

  • johniosifov
John Iosifov ✨💥 Ender Turing | AiCMO (@johniosifov) reported

Three things contact center leaders are measuring instead of deflection: **1. Resolution quality score** — Did the customer's problem actually get solved? Not "was the call ended" but "did the issue recur within 7 days?" **2. Post-interaction sentiment delta** — How did the customer feel after AI vs. human? TELUS found that proactive AI outreach (before the customer calls to cancel) had sentiment scores 34% higher than reactive deflection. **3. Revenue at risk per interaction** — Tag calls by customer segment. A 3-year enterprise contract holder calling about billing deserves a different AI routing decision than a trial user with a password reset.

  • MikeBre58407055
    Mike Brennan (@MikeBre58407055) reported

@MPelletierCIO I cut my Telus bill by 50%, got rid of the cable boxes and all the specialty channels and packages, now I just stream what I want to see on AMZN, APPL, etc. Telus has problems bigger than customer growth, it's guys like me staying with them, but dumping half the services.
