-
DaleCadeau (@DaleCadeau) reported from Delta, British Columbia@richardzussman As a member of Telus Life Plus, I am jumping no queues. All medical procedures I receive are outside of Telus & are in the MSP “lottery” to receive health care. I don’t have a family Doctor so how can keeping me out of visiting emergency or walk in clinics hurt the system?
-
miranda hudson (@_hudsonny) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaWho is better than @telus for home WiFi? Currently paying for the most expensive internet that is slow, intermittently down, and has the worst customer service.
-
Bernardo G. S. (@Eni_gs) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaAnyone having problems with @TELUS ? No internet on #Burnaby #BritishColumbia. Please help @TELUSsupport
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@NoLogsNoCrime I will try this. We had Telus internet, too. But my strata won’t let fibre and Telus makes the other service useless so you’ll upgrade and we couldn’t run the business so we had to switch. Pretty sure that’s not solved so no going back.
-
Karla كارلا جبيلي (she/her) (@asianhabibti) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaHassled 3 different customer service people from Telus on the phone for an hour and a half and got my monthly phone/cable/internet bill down $80. It pays to be a Pain In The ***.
-
Dave Pasin (@dave_pasin) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@Bzubyk @TELUS If you’ve ever had an issue with this horrid Telcom, you’d understand how bureaucratic & truly Inept they actually are. This isn’t really all that surprising when you team an inept co with an obviously feckless bureaucracy
-
Ciara Hempseed (@CiaraHempseed) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaI’m just far too exhausted. I’ve exhausted every option other than going to Er st Paul’s And it’s just blah The doctor on Telus health app felt all bad last night
-
b ran out of time (@bh_) reported from Mount Pleasant, British ColumbiaRogers, Telus, Bell was too many. I think we should all just stop doing business with Bell. They’re already weakened. If we can get Rogers, Telus, Bell down to 2 then that just seems like a better amount to me.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British Columbia@PaulthePedalist We had to ditch Telus for Shaw and so far, it’s good. Their service is better.
-

Steven 🇨🇦 ✡️ (@spawnsteryvr) reported from Vancouver, British ColumbiaEpic fail today @TELUSsupport @TELUS. Not only did my appointment for today get bungled but now your agents can’t even schedule a new one. This is horrible customer service. A lesson in how not to handle customers.
-
mea70 (@doppelganger70) reported from North Vancouver, British ColumbiaIs #Telus internet down in North Vancouver/Capilano area or is it just me? @TELUSsupport #PureFibre #NorthVan

Cam Cavers FKA Cam Cabers (@camcavers) reported from Vancouver, British Columbia@infil00p I think they fixed it late evening, but I’m not sure; wife and I are on Telus and I actually just finished moving both my kids’ phones from Speakout (which uses Rogers network) to Public prepaid sims, which is obviously Telus as it was bought out in 2016.
-
RitchWorld (@RitchWorld) reported from New Westminster, British ColumbiaHad a good talk with .@Shawhelp this weekend. After 20+ years of service, they played the greed game and didn’t want to talk. Called @TELUS and so happy to talk and worked a fabulous deal. father in law is happy as he will be saving $600/ year on home internet, cable and phone.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaTelus knows as well as I do that I only have one other option for internet so they aren’t that motivated to provide technicians that can help with anything outside of plugging in a device. My husband had to troubleshoot for them last week.
-
BdblE (@MsYouDoYou) reported from Burnaby, British ColumbiaAnd yes. They customer service people are delightful and always eager to help. I love @TELUSsupport . But their job is made harder by unusable systems. I’ve put hours and hours and hours into trying to keep Telus as a provider but I it’s time to leave the abusive relationship.
Telus Issues Reports
Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:
-
ZeroPathos 🇨🇦 - Nasty Canadian (@PathosZero) reported@HRHRWH1960 @TELUS As for the issue, if you don't already know that, you should do a quick google of what these AI data centers are doing to towns in the US. Carney was a better choice than Poilievre, but that doesn't mean he then gets my blind support on everything.
-
guy guy (@guyguy47587709) reported@MTe005 @cd_hooks @Lux_Stella_ instead of building this in the middle of nowhere they’re gonna waste prime real estate and staggering amounts of tax payer dollar so Telus and the other telecoms and gut their workforces even further. Absolute retard you are
-
fangya (@Wajeeha91362602) reported@malaymail Try other solution instead- bring back gst and reduce sst.mof sendiri cakap gst lebih telus right
-
Will dePeuter (@WillageD85) reported@beauti_animals Never been the Vancouver, but as a Canadian, the Telus building was a dead give away.
-
BeenThereDoneThat🇨🇦 (@Stowe48953061) reported@PeterKellyBC My personal experience is that they can’t manage their telus communication services very well..so I wish they would fix what they already have, before adding more.
-
Tanev's Grill (@tanevsgrill) reported@SyncMercy Putting any business there would generate the same amount of tax revenue. Federal investment building something for a private corporation to profit off of doesn't help taxpayers. Telus leading this project should concern you more than it encourages you.
-
W.C. (@Joe33932) reported@TELUSsupport Are you gonna fix the sound drop outs and skipping on the Telus 4K boxes?
-
Joel - coffee/acc (@JoelDeTeves) reported@JsonBasedman @TheGeorgePu @TELUS I would rather have seen that money go to proven research cases, but then of course there is a lot of potential for fraud Point being we have talent here and I don’t see how Telus isn’t going to make it it more accessible for them Many researchers are stuck renting from RunPod and similar providers or else self funding The question is who is this supposed to benefit I don’t see Telus acquiring prime locations and getting a break on taxes as beneficial to Canadians (this is the same company who is in trouble for using AI to cover up their telephone rep’s accents) They certainly aren’t going to make the cost of inference cheaper - we are already way behind and the cost has gone up, which means Telus is paying a premium Canadian startups are better off buying used GPUs at this point
-
Thundercat 🇨🇦🇷🇺 (@Thundercattttt0) reported@TruthFringe @BlueJays Call and threaten to cancel, Bell will give it to you for $80 locked in for 2 years. I left Bell for Telus @ $69 for 1.5GB. When I called to cancel Bell offered me $80 for 2 years locked in (Telus is 5 years). Problem with bell was, every year they add $5 increase ever year like clockwork.
