@RobShaw_BC @VaughnPalmer @TELUS So these call center agents are Telus employees? Adding agents to answer over a million calls is not going to solve the problem. A supplementary online system would have helped.

@kboyd05 Good luck. Took 1.5 hrs to deal with @TELUS yesterday to deal with an over billing issue. On any given day, Telus is possibly the worst company in Canada to deal with. Bureaucratic, unresponsive, inept, and that’s just the start.

@richardzussman @TELUS couldn’t organize its way out of one car parade. A truly horrid company. It’s no wonder this clown show was a failure. The govt should’ve known how bad Telus was before allowing them to undertake the task. It’s no wonder it failed. Relying on Telus is abysmal organization

@Bzubyk We all know it’s drivel damage control written by a PR hack. What it didn’t say was how they were going to remedy to situation. Probably because that cost $ & everyone knows @Telus is loathe to spend $ on much but virtue signalling PR campaigns.

@keithbaldrey If youve ever had to deal with @Telus you’d know this fiasco is par for the course. On a good day Telus is in a tight battle for one of the worst customer service, unresponsive, bureaucratic co’s in the country, on a bad day you get what happened.

@telus our internet speed has been operating like it’s 1998. You have put us 23 years into the past. We have called your disgraceful support 4 times and have waited on hold for close to 5 hours only to receive support from humans with no solution. When are you going to fix it?

@keithbaldrey Good for @Telus to remedy the issue with the call centres and finding ppl to man the phones. Just curious why Telus can’t respond to actual customer concerns that quickly & remedy issues that arise. Funny how that works.

I get that there's a new version of the Pik TV app for Android and you are excited for the to update, @TELUS. But unless it's absolutely necessary, forcing me to upgrade or quit when I launch the app is the worst experience!

Rogers, Telus, Bell was too many. I think we should all just stop doing business with Bell. They’re already weakened. If we can get Rogers, Telus, Bell down to 2 then that just seems like a better amount to me.

@PaulDoroshenko Except @Telus is far from an expert at much of anything. Their reputation is horrid at most everything. Even their own employees acknowledge how bad they are.

@Bzubyk @TELUS If you’ve ever had an issue with this horrid Telcom, you’d understand how bureaucratic & truly Inept they actually are. This isn’t really all that surprising when you team an inept co with an obviously feckless bureaucracy

@steeletalk I found out via media...I am so very upset as we have been asking to be included and “radio silence” and then “boom” media drops this important info? We don’t have unlimited staffing and people like @TELUS to help us man the phones...why no notice to supposed front liners ! Sigh

@saifedean @rexglacer It needs to be broken down into easier to manage pieces and ran like a business. Let TELUS run it. They know how to fleece a customer. Just add 1.5 percent to the bill.

@YYCRed @TELUS Not to mention that those paying with credit cards are likely those in financial trouble. Not unlike overdraft fees, they will be taking money from those that have none. #greed

@SivainON @GregRout @CBCToronto Telus will lose more money with lost customers than the 1.5% fee they gain, you fetus. I would never give my business to a company that charges me to use a credit card. I will gladly change my loyalty to a business that doesn’t charge.

Good move though... switching to Telus fiber internet now. 1 Gbps up & down. $80 per month, 2 year contract. No install fee. $150 credit towards shaw cancelation fee. Next day install.

@DuaneStorey @rodmickleburgh @TELUS You could still be correct; they might be using a workaround. They don't collect it themselves. For CC you pay through a third party, while all their other payments are direct. They add the fee and then send it to that third party, so that merchant is never adjusting the price.

@JBH8 @CRTCeng @TELUS Yes, we should prevent all business from passing any fees they incur onto the customer. LoL. You do know they likely pay more in CC processing fees, right? The issue is not fuel surcharges and CC payment - it’s the base price of data plans in Canada. That’s where enough is enough
