Any other TELUS customer having issues with their mobile phone service? Restarted my phone three times, and nothing. Wireless works, and I can still send text messages! Just can’t make any calls! @TELUS @TELUSsupport #TELUSDown #TELUS

  • Blooberboy
Dante Haversham (@Blooberboy) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUS I signed up for @TELUS a week ago. My first bill is due in 3 days already. I haven’t even received my SIM card yet and @TELUSsupport expects me to pay for 10 days of service. Is this a Scam or a service?

  • OtarineMusic
otty (@OtarineMusic) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@lav_sunrise Yeah it seriously sucks. Even if you go third party (I’m with Teksavvy for internet) the service is still distributed by Rogers/Bell/Telus/Shaw.

  • YouMotorcycle
YouMotorcycle (@YouMotorcycle) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@darrylw71 Which is fair. But Koodo isn't a smaller company. It's owned by Telus and operates on Telus' network, so your reception would be no different on one versus the other.

  • jmwensley
Matthew (@jmwensley) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Hey @TELUS did you know that vehicles are to move to the right and stop to allow emergency vehicles to pass?

  • sfergs_

You know what’s annoying? The Telus IVR system. Like as soon as I hear I start yelling “REPRESENTATIVE!!!” Like I don’t wanna ****** talk to this stupid *** robot😭

  • queensantos1984

@TELUSsupport is there an issue because I can't receive texts from boyfriend who Is with Rogers. His best friend is with telus and they can text no problem. This is annoying.

@TELUSsupport @TELUS I’m not happy about my phone being suspended. I just spoke to someone via chat to reinstate and it’s not working. His name is Carlos. Please look into this ASAP and advise. #CustomerExperience

  • prettyapathetic
Alexa Smith (@prettyapathetic) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Switched my cell phone service from #telus to #koodo at the end of December and yet I’m still getting #telus bills 2 months later. Not cool #telus not cool. You will be hearing from me shortly.

  • andreaLG
Andrea Gimblett (@andreaLG) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@AnthonyFarnell Telus has a service that blocks those calls. You can create an approved list but anyone else has to enter a code.

  • michaelnugent
Michael Nugent (@michaelnugent) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Oh man, someone on Reddit just reminded me of when Telus used to have their MiKE network back in the early 2000s. I remember some of my friends back in high school had those cell phones that had a built-in walkie-talkie. They looked so convenient to have by buzzing your friends.

  • DjMalik8013
DjMalik (@DjMalik8013) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUS @TELUSsupport why is there no service in Toronto ON? Outages are unacceptable considering the premium you charge for your services.

  • createdbyrcw
Randall C Willis (@createdbyrcw) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Given how many people I know who cancelled their Bell service, their Rogers service or their Telus service, it is surprising that I know any of this

I didn't take a picture, as I was in the weird Telus health website at the time & didn't want to crash it. Saw a tiny black mouse just come right up to me on the sidewalk. I stopped there and talked to my endo. It lies down and closes its eyes. ToT I think it ate poison/sumn.

  • sen127
Modern Pundit (@sen127) reported from Toronto, Ontario

If you want to have the worse telecom experience go with @Rogers. They have all this network outages and connection issues and still if you keep it they don’t appreciate the business. Customer service/sales are rude. Better cancel instead of calling them. Go with @Bell or @TELUS

  • rishabh_snh
Rishabh Sinha (@rishabh_snh) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@TELUSsupport @TELUS I have been trying to upgrade my phone since 4 days. You automated prices shows 153+taxes for iPhone 11 Pro. I won’t pay that. There’s a technical issue with your chat box. I need a new phone in the next 3days. Help me out if you can.

  • sheldonbk
Sheldon Kerzner (@sheldonbk) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@Ani1u7 @TELUSsupport For sure Telus is wrong.. Turning off Wi-Fi turns the feature off because it's something that has to be supported by the cellular network. I don't know what OS he was running. He's our IT consultant so he may be on a beta or something

  • mgamble
Matthew Gamble (@mgamble) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@AlexanderDKB @peternowak 💯 percent agree. Telus admitted as much in their testimony- the competition isn’t in the RAN, it’s in the core. The network core and the functionality it provides is where an MVNO thrives or dies.

@DrMattHenschke @AvaEmr Any way to make them interoperable so your service can receive Telus’ offering without much overhead?

After the last PVR - 50 hours + affair with to many mistakes to list, I will be happy to leave when my contract expires. Latest customer service enters "Change Order" but should have been "Technical Order" meaning I have to pay $400.00 for all @TELUS mistakes. @TELUSsupport

Ranking of the 3 worse Canadian cell phone companies, based strictly on consumer sentiment. 1. Rogers Wireless (Worst): Consistently generates the highest total volume of consumer grievances in the country. 2. TELUS Mobility: Experienced a staggering 78% spike in year-over-year complaints. 3. Bell Mobility: Rounds out the Big Three with 17% of all national complaints. The number one consumer complaint with these Canadian cell phone companies is incorrect billing and unexpected charges. "Almost" Criminal.😡 ------------------------------------ 🏅The Best: Freedom Mobile: Freedom is highly praised by consumers for aggressive pricing and a firm commitment to "no price hikes" contract guarantees.

  • marcus_wpg
    Mark W (@marcus_wpg) reported

@AlleyDalley @Rogers We don't have Telus home services available here, but it sounds like everything is choosing the best of the worst. Telus service went severely downhill when they sent customer service offshore and I understand others have done the same. Pricing is not intended to be competitive.

  • tegan4618
    Tegan (@tegan4618) reported

@mcgregis @status_is_down We have starlink, never an issue. But phone, Roger's, what an awful company I did have Telus, no issues till in all hubs wisdom switched me to Roger's ugh. Seriously considering a landline, not sure what we were suppose to do were we to have an emergency

  • SullyCanuck87

    @AnneGreig15 @jodyvance @TELUS I am with Rogers/Shaw I never had a problem with them

  • IamSpaceSatan
    Adelhyde (@IamSpaceSatan) reported

@dove_of_babylon @StarboardColors Well, the humans on the back end then have to go through and make sure for future queries that the information being given to the LLM gets the info correct. Or that is what would happen if companies like Telus International actually gave a **** if the information is correct.

  • nitwitschool
    Zenith Zalapski (@nitwitschool) reported

@RoneelkRo In my area it’s Telus and they don’t give a single **** about upgrading us beyond 2010 era internet so my only choice is Elon, which is a surprisingly good service as much as it pains me.
