Mike Spicer (@MikeSpicer12) reported from Brant, Ontario@TELUS Thanks for the $500.00 cancellation bill today. You charged me a cancellation fee when I moved from Alberta to Ontario!! You don’t have internet or tv service in Ontario! And that’s my fault! Customer service needs improvement too!!

Charlie Lyons (@Charlie_Lyons) reported from Brantford, OntarioAnyone else in Brantford currently getting no cell service where you ordinarily get 3 or 4 bars? #TELUS #Brantford #BrantfordBrant
-
Scott Shannon (@Shanny684) reported from North Dumfries, Ontario@TELUSsupport Telus online updates are useless. “Processed” for over a week. Wait on hold for 2+ hours only to get hung up on by loyalty department. This is how a customer of 20+ yrs gets treated.
-
Ryan Leys (@ryanleys2) reported from Cambridge, Ontario@AnousBirding @TELUS @koodo Yeah, we need to open up the big three to competition to drive down the prices, especially after the recent outages. There’s no incentive for them to improve.

Jd (@ProfesorRefer) reported@Tablesalt13 For those that want to know TELUS outsources the most: It runs a massive global BPO operation (TELUS International/digital solutions) with call centers and services abroad. Its Canadian headcount has steadily declined while global grew. • Bell does offshore some customer service/IT (complaints about India/Philippines agents and recent moves are common). • Rogers has done the least visible offshoring for customer-facing roles: It publicly committed to (and delivered) 100% Canadian-based call centers/customer service teams (including repatriating Shaw jobs in 2023). It still positions itself as the only national carrier with this focus, though recent cuts, AI, and third-party shifts have drawn criticism like the others.
-
Gianni (@GianniDAngeloww) reported@SERobinsonJr Is this a joke post? What kind of idiot would saddle themselves with $70+ tax internet for a $120 one-time saving when many providers, including Telus, are cheaper?
-
Dale Alton (@DaleAlton5) reported@JonSedore HOW SOON WE FORGET The data breach involving Telus Digital in March 2026. Telus Digital confirmed investigating a cybersecurity incident March 12, 2026. The breach involved unauthorized access over several months prior (possibly undetected since late 2025). The hackers stole a massive amount of data—up to around 1 petabyte (700+ terabytes according to some reports). This included customer records, call-center recordings, personally identifiable information from multiple clients, source code, If you're a Telus customer , consider steps like changing passwords or enabling monitoring for identity theft.

heiba9866 (@heiba986627073) reported@trevor388569409 @Andrew_Sully @WestJet They can't even price a plane ticket ask them questions about pricing and they won't know what to say, Telus has trainers and quality agents who have never touched a plane 😢, while Canada has staff with several years of exp who do not rely on scripts

speck (@pacific0__) reported@RogersHelps The payment arrangement should take priority over the autopayment. Thats how it worked with Telus and how it should be working with every network provider. However, given that you’re all the same anyways, can’t say I’m surprised. I will be exploring my options. Horrible 1st month
