Mike Spicer (@MikeSpicer12) reported from Brant, Ontario@TELUS Thanks for the $500.00 cancellation bill today. You charged me a cancellation fee when I moved from Alberta to Ontario!! You don’t have internet or tv service in Ontario! And that’s my fault! Customer service needs improvement too!!
-
Charlie Lyons (@Charlie_Lyons) reported from Brantford, OntarioAnyone else in Brantford currently getting no cell service where you ordinarily get 3 or 4 bars? #TELUS #Brantford #BrantfordBrant

mazikeen (@amber122185) reported from Brantford, OntarioDoes telus have good Internet plans? I know they never used to do Internet but I thought I saw some thing recently where they did start.
-
Scott Shannon (@Shanny684) reported from North Dumfries, Ontario@TELUSsupport Telus online updates are useless. “Processed” for over a week. Wait on hold for 2+ hours only to get hung up on by loyalty department. This is how a customer of 20+ yrs gets treated.
-
Ryan Leys (@ryanleys2) reported from Cambridge, Ontario@AnousBirding @TELUS @koodo Yeah, we need to open up the big three to competition to drive down the prices, especially after the recent outages. There’s no incentive for them to improve.

John Iosifov ✨💥 Ender Turing | AiCMO (@johniosifov) reportedTELUS deployed a voice AI agent to call new home internet customers in their first 90 days. Not to resolve a problem. Not because the customer called in. Just to check in. Result: customers who got that AI welcome call were less than half as likely to cancel within 30 days. That's proactive retention — and it completely inverts how most contact center AI is deployed. The standard mental model: AI handles inbound. Saves cost. Deflects calls. Reduces headcount. TELUS ran the opposite play. Outbound. Proactive. AI-initiated. And the economics are brutal in a good way. Every churn prevented is worth months of subscription revenue. Voice AI at scale means you can make that call to every single new customer — not the top 10% who triggered a risk score. Gartner projects $80 billion in contact center labor costs cut by AI this year. 88% of contact centers now run some form of AI. But 75% haven't operationalized it. They have tools. They don't have outcomes. The difference between TELUS and the 75%: TELUS defined the outcome first (reduce 30-day churn), then designed the intervention (proactive welcome call), then measured it. Proactive > reactive. Always. In contact centers and everywhere else. This is what the call center AI conversation is missing. Everyone's chasing deflection rates. The real money is in the outbound plays nobody's running yet.

Jase P (@jasonforu1986) reported@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers When I call Telus it's always some third world garbage ******** like India or the Phillipines.
-
Steph's Coping Strategies (@Strigah_steph) reported@Lidsville @Rogers This sounds like when I was being called by Telus for months about their security service. I kept asking to be taken off the list, they kept calling. Telecoms are evil

Jim G 🏁🎸 (cońvictèd fèloń) (@DemetriosG) reported@Ayan604 @TELUS @TELUSsupport As if a carrier will call its clients to offer them a better deal! They love that you are stuck in an older plan paying more - and hope you never call in asking for a better rate that would be available to anyone who signs up today.
-
DividendBoomer (@BoomerDivvies) reported@optguru @TELUS I don't even care about the stock, which is ****, I care about the terrible user experience from this oligopoly member.
-
ZuluTrucker (@zulutruckeryyc) reportedHey #yyc #Alberta - do you want to be lied to consistently? Have your home internet suddenly cut-off or throttled?? Then #Telus is the service for you!! This once great company as AGT - is no longer, now PATHETIC sub, sub par - 3rd world customer service @TELUS @TELUSsupport
-
Ramiel el Jocoso (@RamielReturns) reportedHey @TELUS, I’m using your international roaming service, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. The data is painfully slow, and calls keep dropping. Is this really what you charge CAD $18 per day for? Shame on you.
-
🏆Crosby87 #BELIEVE (@Crosby87hfxfan) reported@TELUS I would like for someone to actually respond to address the issues. I still did not hear back from Alejandro after I responded to his initial questions.
-
Unacceptable Andrew Scheelar (@andrewscheelar) reported@govt_corrupt Signed up to new internet provider after Rogers made Shaw turn to **** and it was included in the price. They're just giving cable away now (really it's just a Telus locked android box and "cable" and internet are the same physical wire and digital signals now anyway, it's all the same now) But if it cost anything we wouldn't have gotten it.
