@Videotron Internet is down for some residents in Gatineau. Can't even watch TV. What is happening?

@Z_E_R_C Never had problems with Videotron. Bell feels like a bundle of problems even if the deals are better. I've been with teksavvy that uses the same Videotron network and is cheaper. You could try that?

  • AlsoKnownAs_AA
    Algis Akstinas (@AlsoKnownAs_AA) reported

@RogerD416 No actual #MVNO will emerge under these newly detailed old decisions. Doesn't help large regionals as they already have network sharing or roaming deals (Videotron, Freedom, Eastlink). Does not help potential new entrants e.g. Cogeco or Xplorenet either. Nothing-burger. New wrap.

@Videotron Please clarify... Chat won't help me. My username and password are correct because I can log in to your website. So why do I need to call, when it's your app that isn't working... isn't giving me an error message, isn't functioning. Please explain why I need to call.

.@TekSavvyBuzz, looking at 60-meg cable. 1) You are $75.95 + modem (to my knowledge, last I looked, I also have to pay more to remove your throttle) 2) Ebox is $50 modem included (I'd never buy Bell anyhow, even for free). 3) Videotron is ~$60 You don't make this easy for me.

They are allowed to charge for terminals (STBs) but a "terminal/STB access fee"??? WTF is that? PLUS a Network access fee? WTF is that? Anyhow the above is a persons Videotron Skinny basic @ CRTC mandated 25$. What a fuqing rip-off of bogus charges. *** u #CRTC. Just *** u.

@Splash_InG @SuperGirlKels @Z_E_R_C I've had opposite experience tbh (Bell outsources their call centers and it SUCKS) but Videotron doesn't have Fiber-optic so I will never go back lmao. I have no idea though on short term wifi plans how they each work. I suggest calling them both and see what they have.
