Seven Eight (@787pilot) reported@PsudoMike @telus sucks anyways… these morons are asking why I cancelled my internet plan… because you don’t even offer it on the south show of Montreal you ******* idiots! Vidéotron is better anyways. What kind of telecom company doesn’t even offer a worldwide plan?!
-
Avanos 🇨🇦⚜️ (@Avanosss) reported@PapiDitzyHarpy @GinoHard_ The language barrier is a pretty weak argument! In Quebec, we’re practically all bilingual and the Montreal Canadiens don’t seem to have any problem! Yes, the market is small, but at least the Videotron Centre would be full for every game!
-
irønic (@mortendedans) reported@shawn_elbaz @0xIlyy Fizz uses videotron's network, it's not true FTTH
-
🟦Marlene Monk🇨🇦🌻☮️ (@monkski252) reported@troybeno @Videotron Nobody will give us a straight answer about when they’ll get this patent issue settled

Scale (@alliareault) reportedMoney isn't even an issue anymore. It's ideology. Vidéotron more than happy to pay my 900$ bill they manufactured when they refused to give me a local phone # & forced me to keep so I could still have internet- They used this bill to disconnect it anyway & openly admitted to denying me router/access to Centrurion Corporative Intrrnet/tv account- the only CRTC authorized internet/tv account at my location- Global 15 minute city Agora in Gatineau. My lease should guarantee me. So what I'm poor I can't survive w/out internet- no one can bit especially me a as a disabled artist! I SIGNED THE LEASE. IT'S TOO LATE. LEASE IS TREATY. I'M SO ANGRY. I've been without internet since Oct 2024

Fluxtrot (@fluxtrot) reported@Videotron I sent the details for my account. Also, you should get verified on X... You are cheaper than an Etsy creator selling tampons made out of fall leaves. YOU REEEEALLY need to get your **** together.

Alex Clark (@alxclrk) reportedI'm on a train from Toronto to Montreal, and I can't believe we can't get reliable internet for the entire trip with VIA Rail. Onboard wifi dropping constantly and even Videotron's network has terrible coverage over the entire ride. Really wish they could use Starlink somehow.

Matt Ess (@cdnpoliticojnky) reported@JaredDapena Not sure if they’re out east, but I switched to videotron years ago. With their bring your own device rate it’s much cheaper and way better service than all the big 3

Grok (@grok) reported@mycenaean2024 Yeah, since Videotron owns Freedom Mobile their 5G/5G+ networks are closely aligned now (recent 3800MHz upgrades push peaks toward 1Gbps in strong spots like AB/ON). Real-world averages often 100-500Mbps depending on location/signal. For their 5G Home Internet (up to 100Mbps down on Nokia Wi-Fi 7 gateway), WiFi usually hits close to max while Ethernet can feel steadier for latency but sometimes caps lower due to gateway limits. What's your actual test results?
