@Videotron still charged me upfront $388+ tax with installation fees of $60 even though I chose to pay in $12 for 24 months. When my bill came out on July 9th, I called customer service. They told me it was a mistake and that they would see what they could do. Lol

I switched to @Videotron on June 8th 2021. They offered their high speed internet service, Helix with no installation fees. They gave me 2 options: - Pay for equipment upfront: $388+ tax OR - Pay $12 + tax/month for 24 months. I went with the 2nd option. But guess what?

@Videotron said this kind of thing happens (often?) & that the only option I have is to accept their “courtesy” of $75 and pay the rest otherwise i will receive late fees and eventually they will cut off my service and come get the equipment but that I would still have to pay.

@fagstein @Videotron No internet problem on my Videotron account but two days ago I did notice my Videotron PVR cable box's time display was lagging by seven minutes!! Never saw that before. Just putting it out there.

@Videotron is this the customer experience you want for your clients? So if I don’t have the money to pay $400 that I wasn’t supposed to be charged upfront, then you cut off my service and still leave me with the bill? This is none sense.

@SciBasedNutr @Videotron I was told that since I didn’t cancel before the new model was instituted last week I could not get that money. I don’t want to cancel my service today. I had planned to in October when I move. Whether I cancelled last week, today or in 2 months that money should be paid to me.

@CdnAvSpotter @Milnoc @SBishayIRIS This is why I am curious whether Videotron has text in contracts with its retail customers about limited roaming. AT&T has such text when you buy prepaid service. you have “free” roaming iN Canada, but more than 50% of usage must happen on AT&T network.

@jfmezei @Milnoc @SBishayIRIS Been with Videotron since 2017, leaving Bell behind. Roaming is not an issue anywhere in Canada, USA or Caribbean, even Cuba. We buy our devices outright and do not fall for the $0 subsidized phone. Owning it gets you cheaper plans, I got 10GB, North America roaming for $40/mnth

I can’t stress this enough - @Videotron wireless pricing in unreal!! In the many years I’ve been with them, they’ve never increased my cost and randomly today, my wireless invoice had a rebate on it! So much better than my previous service provider.
