Latest outage, problems and issue reports in Ottawa and nearby locations:

  • MitchellLeitman Mitchell Leitman (@MitchellLeitman) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Bell after 14 minutes on a phone call on hold I was disconnected. Please contact me when you're ready, to cancel my services. In the meantime, please don't bill me. Thanks

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@mhbvickers @MoggyBee @cfulgham @MarnaNightingal @ladybugspicnic @cmckenney @frpaul1 @JLeiper @Bell Never DMd and no reply from @Bell_Support anything from me. I bet it was a mere copy and paste Twitter reply to make it look like @bell publicly cares.

  • i_am_ryan Ryan Matthews (@i_am_ryan) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

It’s now been an hour dealing with @Bell_Support. I’ve spoken to one agent then transferred to “level 2” only to explain my issue again and be told I’ll need to speak to a different “level 2” rep. Been on hold for 36 minutes. Oh and I have to be at the airport in 4 hours.

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Bell_Support @ottawacity Councillor reporting in as @OttawaPolice are visiting your idiot employees parked for a second day in the bike lane I front of city hall. Seen reports that another city Councilor got rudely talked to when she asked them to move.

  • vanessa_amato Vanessa Amato (@vanessa_amato) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

If someone works for @Bell and wants to help me... I’ll take all the help I could.. or I’ll just cancel it all. #runninglowonpatience

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Bell_Support @MoggyBee Oh look another @Bell_Support copy & Paste response. They really don't care about their customer's safety at all. 2 replies from Twitter team, lies from their employees and yelling at City Councilors. Great customer service.

  • mirgray Miranda Gray (@mirgray) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@AMBERAlertONT That they were found is great news. However this @Bell_Support customer received no alerts.

  • mhbvickers Michael H Vickers (@mhbvickers) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@MichaelSuddard @Bell_Support @ottawacity @OttawaBylaw @Bell @OttawaPolice I suspect things only happened this time because @cmckenney came upon this as it was going down, and because the @Bell employee called the cops on the #ottbike folks.

  • Diana_Bonillaxo Diana (@Diana_Bonillaxo) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Bell_Support I have no service showing right now and I have done everything I could to restart and also taken out SIM card

  • JoAnneSinclair1 Jo-Anne (@JoAnneSinclair1) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Bell_Support is internet down in Ottawa

  • moorman_neph danielle moorman (@moorman_neph) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Bell it is unclear to me why when cancelling my TV service my internet service has been interrupted this morning - your #CustomerService leaves a lot to be desired. Will be seriously considering an alternate provider in the future

  • StephenJMac Stephen J. MacDonald (@StephenJMac) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

Sad that my @Bell_Support appointment (to fix the serice which has been about since Monday) got cancelled tonight. Won’t be able to watch the @Raptors #WeTheNorh

  • melwitter Mel Chaar (@melwitter) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

    @Bell service down #ottawa #south

  • moorman_neph danielle moorman (@moorman_neph) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

Amazing how fast you can get in contact with someone @Bell if you want to add services - but if you want to cancel they can't hear you and there are suddenly no live chat agents available... #CustomerExperience

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@mhbvickers @k8thek8 @ladybugspicnic @cfulgham @MarnaNightingal @cmckenney @frpaul1 @JLeiper @Bell I didn't DM them. I replied with their request for locations and obvious other nearby issues they are running into publicly.

  • melwitter Mel Chaar (@melwitter) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

    @Bell_Support #internet service down #Ottawa south.

  • mhbvickers Michael H Vickers (@mhbvickers) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@MarnaNightingal @frpaul1 @MoggyBee @ErikWdV @MichaelSuddard @cfulgham @ladybugspicnic @cmckenney @JLeiper @Bell @Bell_Support @ncfottawa The same is true of various other service & delivery companies As much as they will apologize when you call them on it, couriers in particular, clearly rely on breaking the law Probably not explicit policy, but I imagine it's baked into their "deliver quick at all costs" ethos

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@frpaul1 @MarnaNightingal @MoggyBee @ErikWdV @mhbvickers @cfulgham @ladybugspicnic @cmckenney @JLeiper @Bell @Bell_Support @ncfottawa I say we report every single one of them. I'd like to encourage more tows like Toronto does. Toronto towed a constant FedEx scofflaw. So ticket plus tow plus impound plus customer refunds for missing delivery deadlines equals mucho buckos.

  • MichaelSuddard Michael Suddard (@MichaelSuddard) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Scott_Alain @alexthepuffin @Bell Glad to be part of your non-@Bell service team Scott. I'm adding this to my list of why I refuse to use @Bell_Support products (the other being cut wire left behind every time they do work on a nearby utility box).

  • vanessa_amato Vanessa Amato (@vanessa_amato) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

It’s time @Bell works on their customer service 4 and a half hours on a call with them for them to not solve my problem. #bellfibetv #bell4k

Bell Canada Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • wifi_tester Wifi Speed Tester (@wifi_tester) reported

@Bell! Why is my Wi-Fi download speed 31.32mpbs and upload speed 8.99mpbs, when I'm paying for 35mpbs down and 10mbps up?

  • ydfished HoopsfanAB (@ydfished) reported

@BellMediaPR @Bell_Support what have you done to the Summit league championship game? You had it but just came back & you have a pac 12 woman’s game on? Fix it!

  • baklavazaddy Zade (@baklavazaddy) reported

Extremely disappointed with how @Bell customer service agents treat loyal customers.

  • LP1391 Danny White (@LP1391) reported

@Bell_Support would be great if there was an update. There is clearly an outage in Toronto, but you guys not saying anything.

  • snowmanonfire hockeynut (@snowmanonfire) reported

@Bell Your internet is 10 MB that’s megabytes wtf even bother? 10 Mb while the other guys 1.5 Terabytes. How many megabytes in a terabytes you might ask? 1000000 mb = to 1 terabyte again why even bother in my area 15 years fibe is coming it never cane!

  • Rogersiswashed Tony Staffieri Sucks Camel **** (@Rogersiswashed) reported

@Bell @Bell_Support Want a new customer??? @Rogers Can't seem to their dumpster fire of a company together

  • Lew_SE_ L. Meyers (@Lew_SE_) reported

@Bell maybe my “small business account” isn’t enough for you to want to pay attention to. I mean when you tell a customer to wait until the summer with no real solution it makes me wonder how new customers get fibe or are existing customers not enough?

  • holliepollard_ Hollie Pollard (@holliepollard_) reported

While @rogers uses third party Canadian vendors in all departments, @Bell outsources internationally with techs being Bell employees. Both companies have great profit margins but treat their vendor employees like a number.

  • CoalitionCanad1 🇨🇦Canuck🇨🇦 (@CoalitionCanad1) reported

@Bell_Support Here’s the update. After demanding a service call which the tech was weary about they came changed the end on the cable. Problem fixed! Much faster now! For two years of complaining about the internet. 15 minute fix for a problem which gave me inferior service. It NEVER worked!

  • danbush52 Danny Bush (@danbush52) reported

@Bell_Support I'm just wondering how much longer the problem with the towers is going to persist. I'm having to put airplane mode off and on at least six times a day to get proper service. I know a lot of people in Ontario are going through the same thing.
