What a garbage service… @RogersHelps @Rogers services have been down for almost 2 full days, they claim the the service has been restored, yet WiFi is barely working. Great work pressing the “on” button - but when are the services actually going to be working as intended again?

@RogersHelps What about people who lost their lives because their loved ones couldn't call 911? Emergency services need to be able to rely on another provider if their main provider goes down. I am disgusted. We have @fido internet and home phone and three cell phones. How much $ do I get?

@ThatShams @jbrommet @RogersHelps Still no service for me in Markham Stoufville area as well.

  • paulburyradio Paul Bury (@paulburyradio) reported

Aside from 911 being unavailabe for @Rogers customers, another major issue is Canada's Emergency Alert System. The alerts are distributed to radio and TV stations via the internet. If the station happened to be on Rogers and a tornado hit, the alert would never go out. @CRTCeng

  • sborch6587 Scott R Borchert (@sborch6587) reported

@Rogers @RogersHelps so you are blaming an update for the shutdown of the network. That's what happened a year ago. Are your techs that dumb they didn't learn from the first time? No TV, internet, or cell service because you didn't learn from the first outage to test first!?!?
