Oleksiy Kovyrin 🇺🇦🇨🇦 (@kovyrin) reported@RogersHelps, this may be one of the worst customer support experiences I've ever had. I ordered a SECOND internet service for a new house. Rogers shipped me an XB8. It wouldn't connect. Technical support eventually figured out that Rogers provisioned the new modem against the WRONG address. Great. Simple backend mistake. Should be easy to fix, right? Nope. Yesterday: 45 minutes waiting for phone support before giving up. Today: hours dealing with support. Technical Support diagnoses the problem, then transfers me to Customer Care. Customer Care tells me they can't access the account and sends me BACK to the same phone number. I ask for the account number I'll need when I call. They give me an old account number and tell me it's associated with an address in Surrey, BC. Except MyRogers shows that exact account number as my CURRENT internet service in Waterloo. Eventually they find another account ending in the same four digits as the new service agreement — but can't even confirm the service address and tell me to call the “specialist team.” All I need is for Rogers to associate the modem THEY SHIPPED with the internet service THEY CREATED at the address ON THEIR OWN SERVICE AGREEMENT. I've spent hours trying to find a human being with permission to fix what appears to be a Rogers provisioning error. How is this a reasonable customer experience in 2026?
-
quaffer (@quaffer) reportedI have not been able to get to @rogers for tec support in 4 days. I hang on the phone for almost two hours on two occasions and then the call hangs up. Why should any paying customer wait 2 hours for a call to he answered? Obviously not enough people working there. 1/

🇨🇦 Ralph FranSummerMan 🌻🌞🌻 (aka Frathos)🇨🇦 (@FrathosCAN) reported@RogersHelps Why does @Rogers #XfinityTV have an Emergency Alert system that cannot be cancelled? I don't appreciate being forced to listen to a warning in French since I don't understand it & it wastes my time! The older NextBox STB allowed me to exit non-relevant to me Alerts!
-
Bonnie Lee (@stitchlady) reported@RogersHelps the batteries in my remote were down to 56% so I put new batteries in but it still says 56%. I used brand new batteries. I’ve had this happen before with remotes. I even restarted my TV box. Why doesn’t it show the batteries at 100%?
-
Dwayne Mack (@xx_Dwayne_Mack) reported@Rogers you guys should be sued and butt ****** into oblivion for how **** your ******* internet services are you greedy *****
-
Gram-splaining (@gramsplaining) reported@Rogers Before: "Welcome to rogers..." Press 1121 "Would you like to use the card stored on file?" 1 "OK, I'll just need the cards security code" "***" "We are processing your payment... thank you for your payment" *hang up* Done in 30 seconds Your new AI system is trash
-
Rita (@ritasummerstar) reported@RogersHelps you just disconnect calls now and tell customers to call back later? What ******** kind of customer service is that?
-
#NoDigitalID Nancy #NoCBDC (@nancyvictoria) reported@JayGenXer @Rogers @Rogers is the worst! 0 customer service 👎 Canadians deserve far better!

DNA does not lie! (@dnadoesnotlie) reported@Bell_Aliant @Rogers As an unusual homebase customer, I happen to have Rogers TV and Internet and cellular service and I love their cellular service and their TV service is excellent I also happen to have Bell TV service, Internet service and landline service I do not think you will ever find that many customers who have those services from both companies so I can honestly give you a true opinion on them both The one thing about Rogers is that the majority of their employees are Canadian that means that they keep the Canadian dollars that are paid for their services in Canada. Keep Canadians employed and paying Canadian taxes. Bell, on the other hand has a majority of their employed staff outside of Country. They are sending Canadian dollars that are paid for a service in Canada to other nations and other citizens and other countries and other countries taxes that means those two dollars away from Canadians and away from the Canadian taxpayers when most honest Canadian people have to keep paying, however, the companies get around it Also, very unacceptable
