Anyone else in #Orleans #Ontario having slow to no Internet issues on Rogers ? For the last few hours i thought it was our own network but this issue is before hitting the modem. @RogersHelps any known issues in this area?

  • robertlendvai
robertlendvai | (🚴🏽,🏊🏻‍♂️,🚴🏽) (@robertlendvai) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

So @Rogers had a major national crisis yesterday and broke every rule on how to handle it. 1. Acknowledge the issue 2. Top guy / gal takes responsibility and is visible 3. Overcorrect and over communicate None of that happened. #rogersdown

  • OttawaByMike
Michael Lewicki (@OttawaByMike) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@RogersHelps No. That was not my question: Why, because I pay for your internet AND I’m under 65 years of age is the option to receive paper billing removed? So if I switched my ‘net to @Bell does that mean I could receive paper billing if I cancel a service that is one of your criteria?

  • TWFS
Franz Holtz (@TWFS) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

Hello @Sportsnet your app is not working and we cant watch the game. And its not letting me sign with my @RogersHelps @rogerstv sign in.

  • Robkilin
Robert Kilin (@Robkilin) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Rogers Customers were promised 5 days worth of service credit. If you divide $240 by 30 = 8 *5 is 40 not 20 which is the credit I received. You may want to check your math Rogers.

  • roachwc
Roach_WC (@roachwc) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Rogers why is even the top package you offer so small compared to other countries? 1.5 gig up and 1 gig down is nothing. You guys should really increase it. Even in the states you can get up to over 100gig up and down for less than the price of your highest package.

  • ParagonCause
PARAGON CAUSE (@ParagonCause) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

Good ol @Rogers, send a 'free' Pro On the Go. Some weird dude shows up, trying to upsell us on everything but he tell us it's 20 less per line if we follow his advice. We fall for it. Get our bill today, 150$ higher and after hour with support. Nothing.

  • QuJinghua
Qu Jinghua (@QuJinghua) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@RogersHelps Internet broke off this afternoon. They say a problem going on in this region. Any idea when it will be fixed?

  • That80sG
    Jet-Senator 🏒 ✈ (@That80sG) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Sportsnet aka @Rogers dumping local shows out west to bring in more Toronto based content is the very reason their licenses should be challenged immediately after they're due for renewal. Enough shoveling Toronto's garbage across Canada.

  • adaoust13
Angie D'Aoust (@adaoust13) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

    @alour @RogersHelps 🙄🙄 no fixing stupid.

  • ParagonCause
PARAGON CAUSE (@ParagonCause) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

Spoke to TekSavvy about issues post @Rogers disaster. We don't have reliable internet since then, Rogers staff comes to our house and tells us it's the 'modem' and not their network yet TekSavvy says our lines are a disaster. they are telling many customers this. @CBCOttawa @CBC

  • lebaneseogre
me posting my Ls 🇱🇧🇵🇸 (@lebaneseogre) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

I still can not login to @PlayStationCA network through my useless @RogersHelps supposedly fiberoptics internet. I also can not upload vids or pics on twitter? I would need to switch to data on my phone to do so. Bottom tier provider. Switching asap #rogersoutage #Rogersinternet

  • Robkilin
Robert Kilin (@Robkilin) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

@Rogers @AEBT95825217 I got my bill with the credit for the outage, I'm not sure how Rogers calculates 5 days of service but a $20 credit on a $240 bill is not the cost 5 days worth of service as we were promised.

  • vivadz2011
Nas Eldjazair (@vivadz2011) reported from Ottawa, Ontario

Hey @Rogers, I was wondering if your technicians are well trained because I never seen people with less jugement then them!

  • Brevity_ii
    Patrick Kernaghan(He/Him) (@Brevity_ii) reported

@OILanatude @Rogers Cancel them. There are WAY better and cheaper mobile options out there. Rogers has the WORST customer service in Canada.

  • SteveJackman
    Stephen Jackman (@SteveJackman) reported

How in the world did the @CRTCeng allow @Rogers to buy Shaw??? You’re supposed to protect Canadians it’s your only mandate. The service quality is down the shitter in BC on Rogers(Shaw) Internet. Frequent volume changes on upstream and downstream signals. Automated AI support bots that don’t do **** for anyone. There had to be some back room bribes to allow this farcical deal go through.

  • JacquiKJanes
    Jacqui (@JacquiKJanes) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Interesting since @Rogers says none of its call centres are outside of Canada - Rogers Communications states that its customer service call centres are 100% based in Canada.

  • JWatson42
    Mertecracker (@JWatson42) reported

@RogersHelps I have requested to be contacted to resolve an issue by email, but you are continuing to try calling a number that is no longer in service. How can I talk to a human without being able to call from a Rogers SIM? Chat is unable to resolve.

  • CognizantBeing
    ConsciousCreation Inspired CH. (@CognizantBeing) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers We need to start refusing to use business that give our information away to international call centre people. Than we wonder why our information in compromised. Even our banks are doing this....it needs to stop. We need complain as we are not getting customer service as we should.

  • cal920c
    Calvin Ing (@cal920c) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers When I called bell, unless it was an after hours call. It was usually from a Canadian call center. Same with Air Canada. When I called at 2:00 am though, I did get an Indian call center, but thankfully my problem got solved.

  • thewanderingtr1
    Monerostar (@thewanderingtr1) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Cancelled everything connected to Rogers. Done paying for the Leafs, Raptors and Jays salaries all while having to watch gay ****, price increases and more. Now I run Starlink so my idealogies can at align somewhat with what I pay for.

  • RKBalsara
    R K Balsara (@RKBalsara) reported

@JustMeJamie64 @Rogers Some of the best technical support folks in the world today are from India. Check out Zoho support or Microsoft 365 support. Try Bell or Rogers, they are a nightmare.

  • Sky__16__
    Ds (@Sky__16__) reported

@Rogers @RogersHelps 5.5 hours outage while I work from home = real income loss (~$250). Final resolution from Rogers Communications = $2 credit. This doesn’t reflect the real impact.

  • bigweeels
    PattyD_fore (@bigweeels) reported

@RogersHelps AI asst. would ask for my name and then ask for me to spell my name and then would ask me to try again and it was never successful. I’d transfer to a CSR and the call would just drop after a msg saying there’s a “high volume of calls at the moment, call back later.”
