Kathy M (@kathym425) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron Thank you for the explanation. Unfortunately, I'm now going to have to pay for another service to be able to access my favourite shows. No savings for me 🙁
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, QuebecI switched to @Videotron on June 8th 2021. They offered their high speed internet service, Helix with no installation fees. They gave me 2 options: - Pay for equipment upfront: $388+ tax OR - Pay $12 + tax/month for 24 months. I went with the 2nd option. But guess what?
-
martin lutteral 🇨🇦 (@mlutteral) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron You don't have a technical support. I've been waiting 45 minutes and nobody pick up. You are pathetic

-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron said this kind of thing happens (often?) & that the only option I have is to accept their “courtesy” of $75 and pay the rest otherwise i will receive late fees and eventually they will cut off my service and come get the equipment but that I would still have to pay.
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron still charged me upfront $388+ tax with installation fees of $60 even though I chose to pay in $12 for 24 months. When my bill came out on July 9th, I called customer service. They told me it was a mistake and that they would see what they could do. Lol

-
David MacIntyre (@dave_mac609) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron Three times in the last month you have needed to send a technician to my house to fix my internet and TV, and the same issues keep reoccurring. Internet has been AWOL since last night and TV signal weak. This is absolutely unac-*******-ceptable. Disgraceful. Do better.
-
Nick Chrysanthakopoulos (@NickChrysantha1) reported from Montréal, Quebec@fagstein @Videotron No internet problem on my Videotron account but two days ago I did notice my Videotron PVR cable box's time display was lagging by seven minutes!! Never saw that before. Just putting it out there.
-
Sean Lloyd (@SeanLloyd93) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Bell_Support I'll need someone to reach me very soon or I will be calling @Videotron tomorrow. Never have I had such bad service
-
Cee (@CeeFor) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron @DjBlaster Interesting. We’ve dealt with Videotron maybe 3 times as potential customers and every time we’ve had agenda flat out refuse to speak English. Even when we get telemarketing calls, when I say I don’t speak French they just say “ok bye” and hang up. Always a bad experience.

martin lutteral 🇨🇦 (@mlutteral) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron I've been a loyal client for the last 17 years. I don't know who's making the big decisions in your company, but (s)he is a ******* idiot. In the span of about one year you went from the best ISP in town to one of the worst. Time to move.
-
Jaaaaaayyyyy (@zerojay) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron It appears that there is an internet outage here. Are there any known active outages in NDG/CDN?
-
Kathy M (@kathym425) reported from Montréal, Quebec@lesleychestrman @Bell_Support Good for you! Bell customer service sucks. I dumped them years ago and have been a happy Videotron client ever since.
-
jyseerys (@jayseereyes) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron Besides, I didn't because I wasn't aware of my limits till I received my bill. However, this month I did receive an alert regarding with my usage limits. So it wasn't a technical problem.
-
Issa Sissoko (@IssaCheckmate) reported from Montréal, Quebec@Videotron is this the customer experience you want for your clients? So if I don’t have the money to pay $400 that I wasn’t supposed to be charged upfront, then you cut off my service and still leave me with the bill? This is none sense.

henry 🚗🛻🏎️ (@Car_Silhouettes) reported@harrisondubay Centre Videotron? Your city will never get an NHL team, sorry Quebec
-
Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reportedSo Bell, Cogeco, Videotron and CNOC wanted a cartel where everyone must be paying CNOC members to wholesale internet at affordable rates. **** CNOC. For Bell Cogeco, Rogers & Videotron to push this, they sure as hell want protection from another bundle player. No denying that.
-
Brandon Caron (@b2caron) reported@FreedomMobile will Freedom's home network be expanded with Videotron's Quebec network? I don't want to be roaming when I go to Montreal anymore 😢
-
Commissioner Miner (@fanCRTCProfling) reported@BigBadJuan They want to charge for a service that was not &could not be delivered. There are still no reports from: -Videotron -Rogers -Freedom -Flanker brands -Resellers/wholesalers (Storm Internet aside)
-
Francis Taquin (@FrancisTaquin1) reported" With Rogers shutting its 3G network on July 31 too, it’s likely that Freedom Mobile and Videotron’s 3G shutdown is related, since its wireless customers also roam on Rogers. “Starting July 31, 2025, one of our Canadian partners will begin shutting down their 3G network, beginning with the province of Quebec, as well as Ottawa, and it’s surrounding areas,” says Freedom Mobile. Recently, Rogers and Fido have already started cutting off working phones that were using its 3G networks, in what was deemed accidental. Rogers is also charging a $75 network fee if users continue to use 3G networks. "
-
Chris (@Silverxx27) reported@FreedomMobile Get your internet services working constantly down for long periods wont be sticking with you guys this is a joke since videotron buy freedom hello big boy companies again
-
François Caron 🇨🇦 (@Milnoc) reported@fanCRTCProfling Nope. One important aspect of Videotron is that the service is reliable and the billing's accurate. I never have to fight with them.
-
iPro YT (@YtIpro57328) reported@Bell_Support AGAIN!! Bell has been down repeatedly in December alone. Down two weekends ago Down last weekend Down again Monday @videotron how's your service been lately?
-
🇨🇦 Eh Aye (@canadian_eh_aye) reported@6ixbuzztv Never paid them before as I always switch during promos but it is a good step forward More competition would be nice - Videotron doesn't seem to be that eager these days with Freedom either.
-
Francis Taquin (@FrancisTaquin1) reported" Videotron warns: “When 3G is shut down, you will no longer be able to call 911 if you use a mobile phone or a SIM card that is not VoLTE compatible. This is already the case when you are travelling in the United States.” How to check your phone Freedom Mobile recommends dialing #TEST (#8378). If the call goes through, your phone is VoLTE-ready. If it doesn’t, you’ll need a newer phone and SIM card to stay connected. "
