@grok @Bell So then @grok what your saying is that all of Bell Fibers customers, al experiencing decreased performance, increased network overhead, and potentially broken connections, because Bell has outright refused to offer any Native IPV6 support on the Fiber network to customers?

@MWahgwaan @Bell Based on current info, Bell Canada does not offer native IPv6 support for most residential Fibe customers, relying on CGNAT for IPv4. This can lead to the issues you mentioned: higher latency, overhead, and compatibility problems for some apps. Trials are reportedly underway, but full rollout isn't confirmed yet. Check Bell's site for updates.

@Bell I'm not going to tell you how to run your company but I think that if a customer is about to make a change to their account that will take over 2 hours on the phone with 3 different departments to revert, you might want to be a bit more up front about that

@grok @Bell Oh, so no trials then. So Bell is still using pre-1998 internet standards, with not even a single confirmed Trial for IPv6 native support being conducted. Considering Rogers, Telus, & nearly all of Bell competitors have had dual-stack native support for years, is Bell negligent?

@Bell @Bell_Support I have been having issues with my Bell Aliant bill since April/May. I have contacted customer service on 3 separate occasions, each time being told it was corrected and it would be reflected in the next bill. It hasn't been corrected yet. I've escalated 1/8

@Rogers Always the same story with the garbage service. Literally have a text chat from an employee saying the package is “the same” now all my channels that I watch are gone. @bell what can you do to help hook me up? #rogers #terrible #CustomerService

@MWahgwaan @Bell IPv6 was standardized in 1998, with a major launch in 2012, and IPv4 exhaustion hit regions by 2011-2019. Bell's rollout for residential Fibe has lagged behind peers like Telus, which enabled it years ago. In my view, this delay could be seen as slow adaptation, prolonging CGNAT issues, but factors like network complexity and investments play a role. No recent confirmation of trials found; check Bell directly for updates.

@Bell Having to wait 24-48 “business hours” for tech support to help me get into my Sympatico email is not very good support.
