@FF_MuTeX @Bell I had a similar issue when I first got fiber and it was actually condensation build up on the pole where the line comes to my house that was causing a disrupt. Have them climbed the pole ourside and checked the connection there?

@FF_MuTeX @Bell I have Bell Fibe as well and have never had this issue. Thats so weird. Maybe try the modem in another area of the house/another plug?

@FF_MuTeX @Bell @FF_MuTeX did they try changing you to a different port/channel at the main hub which services your house/area? Apparently that was our issue, with our service according to our tech. Something to do with our account/previous account on that port was causing the problem.

@Bell Would be nice if Bell invested in fiber optic in rural areas. We can't even get the LTE service (Internet signal from a tower) or a reliable cell signal for phone calls 1 hr East of Toronto in Northumberland County.

Overworked
(@doctorwhowhovia) reported
My older parents receivers (all THREE) quit working with the remotes. Tech support made them reboot and when it didn't fix them bullied them into being charged $30 for a new remote, which will be snail mailed to them. @Bell "support" refused to send a tech out. I'm so angry!

@Bell I’m tweeting you, as I’m at my wits end. My mom is in Europe honouring veterans who were part of the Dieppe Raid in 1942. Put a plan on her phone with lots of time. It has been days. It’s not working. I spoke with 3 people yesterday.

@Bell I'm a fibre customer & pay $175 a month which is much more than I was promised when I was sold this package & the upload speed is 25% slower now. I've tried to contact bell NUMEROUS times & the department that can help me only calls out & I've never been able to get them to call.

@FF_MuTeX @Bell You mentioned a modem not a router...bell only has modem/router combos. You either have the h2k, h3k or h4k. If you have fiber the power cycle isn't the issue. You may have a device in the house causing the problem as well. Try using only one or 2 devices at the time

@FF_MuTeX @Bell Does your modem like completely shut off and restart? Or does it just act like you hit the reset button? Because if it completely shuts off then it’s an electricity issue and your outlet might have a short. If not, I’m not sure that’s weird.

@FF_MuTeX @Bell I also had this Issue when my modem was not meant for the speeds I was getting causing it to restart as speeds coming in faster than the modem could process
