@CityNewsTO Damn you, @Bell. Donked up my AM. Such a severe service failure is sure to have an interesting post mortem. Or not. Was not enough attention paid to this seemingly innocuous event? Can't happen. Time is a foundational dependency of tech, and society. #devops

@CousineauAlbert @Bell Im saying maybe that's why some bell phones switched and some didn't, some set on network time and some not.

@SeoulShakin @Bell Check your location under "Select time zone" -- I was baffled this morning when it said Atlantic Time, no daylight savings, then realized it said Blanc-Sablon. A spot in /Quebec/ that uses AT, but never daylight savings. If it's different, switch it to Halifax. Worked for me.

UPDATE from @Bell_Support re phone time issue: The issue has been resolved. The update will be done automatically but customers may need to either reboot their phones or go on airplane mode to trigger the time change. We’d like to thank everyone for their patience. @CBCNews

@Bell_Support So, you guys going to reimburse people for being late/missing work? Instead I’ll likely see a $3 increase on my bill “to maintain the highest standard of service.”

@Bell_Support ++ and did not get mailed invoices due to COVID lockdown. Bell claims $50 for 1 GB of extra data is one of the lowest in the market! May be it was true 10 years ago but in 2021? Had to file a complaint and hope CCTS will help. HELP!

@Bell_Support It’s unbelievable incompetency to have this happen. I sure hope you reimburse those who lost money as a result of this. I just not lost an hour not so bad but others are worse off. #whatthehellbell
