  • skingstone
sheryl kingstone (@skingstone) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

I’m ready to cancel all our services @RogersHelps I want answers as to why our internet drops throughout the day. I have a request into support. I’m watching my text for an answer. We’ve had a few too many street wide outages. It also drops intermittently.

@QueenofCastoria @Rogers Yeah I'm paying for this garbage.

  • skingstone
sheryl kingstone (@skingstone) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

Hey @RogersHelps this is the second time in about 2 weeks that I had to report an outage. That’s not best practice pro-active customer service. Your IVR is also extremely poorly organized.

  • CarloGon
Carlo Gon (@CarloGon) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

@Rogers Yet it keeps happening. Thanks for FINALLY trying to resolve the issue July 8, 2022. It caused a nationwide problem! Now, Ignite TV is lagging more than ever and the company says issues are resolved as Ted Rogers is kicking in his grave. #rogersoutrage #rogers

  • khala_naturals
Khala Naturals (@khala_naturals) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

Well...another night of either choppy TV or no TV with our Ignite service. What's up @Rogers @RogersHelps ? It's getting a bit old paying for no services.

@tyantzi @RogersHelps Anybody whose ever worked in tech support (me, back in the day) knows it's often a thankless gig, yet so critical to client retention.

  • CarloGon
Carlo Gon (@CarloGon) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

@Rogers @RogersHelps We are STILL having problems with our internet. We did all the tests you suggested. It's not our problem. YOUR modem, when connected directly to a laptop is 1/2 the Gig we are paying. #FixThisIssuePlease

Whether you like @FadooBobcat or not, he was their “day 1” employee & it’s disturbing that @Rogers has no regard for their talent It also pisses me off that #BlueJaysCentral hires washed up, American, has-beens to plop beside poor beleaguered @SNETCampbell #HireCanadians

  • Csertl1

@RogersHelps Can you tell us when today's service disruption will be over? There was no time given in your text message.

@UPSHelp_CA, @Brightstar, @RogersHelps — absolute atrocious customer experience with what is supposed to be a replacement phone delivery. Delivery was to arrive yesterday. No signs.. no help being offered until next week. “Investigation” to be launched ...while we wait..terrible

  • LoveMy7Wood
Love My 7 Wood (@LoveMy7Wood) reported

If you are considering (or have to due to equipment failure like me) switching from Ignite to Xfinity on @Rogers here are some things to be aware of that they do not tell you before, during or after the transition. First, a new account will be opened, independent of your previous account, and unless you call and close your previous account, you will be double billed. Second, nobody will ask you for your credit card and it won’t be transitioned from your old account so unless you go online and add it, in a month you will be getting nasty notices. Three, if you have streaming services like Crave that you buy through Rogers it will not be transferred to your new account automatically. You must call to get it added. Fourth, expect at least one of the Xfinity boxes not to work properly. I’ve done the transition now at my cottage and home and multiple service visits and equipment replacements may be necessary. Fifth, if you have Rogers/ Yahoo email or Finance accounts they don’t automatically transition and multiple phone calls may be necessary and it may take the knowledge of a supervisor to get them going again. And sixth, Rogers goes out of its way to make speaking to an actual human being virtually impossible and you have to fight with AI and may be lucky and get through to someone in a few minutes or, like me, you can waste hours and hours on hold. And finally, they are going to email you a survey on how they did. Don’t fill it in right away. Wait a few days to make sure things work and work as they should. Good luck!
