Charlie (@charlieinottawa) reported from Ottawa, OntarioSafe to say @rogers is still having issues. I couldn't call earlier, but I could text. Now, I can't do either...absolutely wonderful. #Fail #rogersoutage #refundrequired
-
Michael Lewicki (@OttawaByMike) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@RogersHelps No. That was not my question: Why, because I pay for your internet AND I’m under 65 years of age is the option to receive paper billing removed? So if I switched my ‘net to @Bell does that mean I could receive paper billing if I cancel a service that is one of your criteria?
-
Louise Ogilvie (she/her) (@LouiseOgilvie2) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@RogersHelps 2.5 h last night to cancel TV service at the end of the month. Now I can’t even watch tv. Spent 1.5 h on chat still doesn’t work and service can’t give me refund. This is ridiculous!

Leonard Surges (@LeonardSurges) reported from Ottawa, Ontario@RogersHelps Last Sunday, service was slow. Tech confirmed issue from head end. Tech attended. Speedtest unchanged. Service intermittent all week, worse this morning. Ottawa Glebe neighbour: same problem. Download below 5Mbps isn't unlimited Gigabit service!

Rich (@RichSavarie) reported from Ottawa, OntarioSo has @Rogers offered up an explanation yet for why I was forced to lose out on a day of work (and therefore, a day of pay) and being incommunicado all day? All this on top of being sick with probably COVID made for a very long, terrible day.

-
Ria Riaz (@RoastedKeyboard) reportedAs much as people are relying on AI for help for customer success. Anytime you ask a question AI is like sorry we can’t help. And people are reducing front line staff Case in point @Rogers. Took me 5 hours to get in touch with a human. I tried live chat and I just got moved around 3 times and I am still waiting. AI simply isn’t there yet. Hire more people and train them or at least train your AI better please

Oleksiy Kovyrin 🇺🇦🇨🇦 (@kovyrin) reported@RogersHelps, this may be one of the worst customer support experiences I've ever had. I ordered a SECOND internet service for a new house. Rogers shipped me an XB8. It wouldn't connect. Technical support eventually figured out that Rogers provisioned the new modem against the WRONG address. Great. Simple backend mistake. Should be easy to fix, right? Nope. Yesterday: 45 minutes waiting for phone support before giving up. Today: hours dealing with support. Technical Support diagnoses the problem, then transfers me to Customer Care. Customer Care tells me they can't access the account and sends me BACK to the same phone number. I ask for the account number I'll need when I call. They give me an old account number and tell me it's associated with an address in Surrey, BC. Except MyRogers shows that exact account number as my CURRENT internet service in Waterloo. Eventually they find another account ending in the same four digits as the new service agreement — but can't even confirm the service address and tell me to call the “specialist team.” All I need is for Rogers to associate the modem THEY SHIPPED with the internet service THEY CREATED at the address ON THEIR OWN SERVICE AGREEMENT. I've spent hours trying to find a human being with permission to fix what appears to be a Rogers provisioning error. How is this a reasonable customer experience in 2026?

quaffer (@quaffer) reportedI have not been able to get to @rogers for tec support in 4 days. I hang on the phone for almost two hours on two occasions and then the call hangs up. Why should any paying customer wait 2 hours for a call to he answered? Obviously not enough people working there. 1/
-
BNKB (@banknotekb) reported@RogersHelps @Rogers I purchased the Africa Travel Pass and it doesn’t work. I was promised an update within 24 hours and received nothing. I then waited 2 more hours for a specialist, only for the chat to be ended without resolution. Can someone help before I escalate this to the CCTS/CRTC?
