@gmbutts @Rogers Too bad, Gerald. Maybe it's the difference due to living in a smaller community in the Maritimes, but I find that the Rogers support here is really good, though coverage is not as good as it should be.

@Rogers is continually dropping internet. Tech knows this issue and refuses to send a tech out. How is this acceptable when thousands are still working from home? We need reliable and affordable internet.

I guess the question here is @fido @Rogers are we getting a credit for unusable service?
-
Sharon Kate
(@kate5875) reported
@RogersHelps @RobDitta We should not have to call Rogers for the rebate. You should automatically give the rebate. It would not be fair to have no service the whole day today and be subjected to a long wait time on the phone just to get a rebate that we are entitled to.

@RogersHelps @mgnops Hope I don't need to call 911 or any emergency service hope we all are being given credit for the lost day of service

@Rogers mobile service back after being down all day. Let's see if they have a real explanation for what happened, and hopefully there's some compensation. We pay biggly for wireless in Canada, and expect reliability, especially when we rely so heavily during #wfh rules.

@AboutRogers @Rogers Intermediate?? I have had zero wireless service since 7am!!!!! What is the ETA as it has taken close to 12 hours for you to even find the root cause.

@AboutRogers @Rogers Whatever the software change was, you'd better back out quick, it didn't work. Took way too long to figure out the root cause, and unacceptably long to communicate to customers, and still no ETR. Bad business. You might want to get a crisis management team. Oh...too late.
