  • JeffIsy Jeff Isy (@JeffIsy) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@AboutRogers @Rogers Your *billion dollar* telecom company’s incompetency has put people in danger, emergency line was disabled, small businesses were affected and the credit you’ll be offering won’t be enough to cover for the damages that you’ve caused. Shame on you!

  • michaelroberts Michael Roberts (@michaelroberts) reported from Toronto, Ontario

    @lechat33 @Rogers Same here! @RogersHelps fix this!

  • coreyherscu Corey Herscu (@coreyherscu) reported from Toronto, Ontario

I got through to and changed my account with @Bell_News within 10-mins. I’ve called @RogersHelps four times and gave up after 45-mins of hold times each. Rather than stupid deals, executive fights, and boasting speeds… maybe focus on your current clientele who are exhausted

  • daveinthebeach1 daveinthebeaches (@daveinthebeach1) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@rogers can someone please explain to me why I pay you $300 a month for ******, inconsistent service? Trying to watch a ball game but can’t ! Rogers is the Absolute worst!

  • gastonl GastonL (@gastonl) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps My internet is still down, That is also a scam since there is no ETA and no way to reach you via phone nor chat

  • EvanSambasivam Evan Sambasivam (@EvanSambasivam) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Is @Rogers going to compensate Canadians who have maxed out their data plans because they've lost wifi for over 24 hours? This outage has adversely impacted people who aren't even Rogers customers. #outage #rogersoutrage #RogersLetsNotTalkDay

  • TarekFatah Tarek Fatah (@TarekFatah) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Need help. How does one switch from the pathetic service of @Rogers to #Bell? cc. @BellMediaPR @RogersMediaPR

  • bajofuego81 J (@bajofuego81) reported from Toronto county, Ontario

@RogersHelps I was going to call but there was already a tech parked on Vesta Dr. for another call. He said he was going to notify dispatch / maintenance about getting a bucket truck because he wasn’t going to be able to fix it himself.

  • atomsmith Atom Smith (@atomsmith) reported from Toronto, Ontario

Seems like the first thing @Rogers did last night was send out bills to it’s customers. What a horrible customer experience.

  • sashaboersma Sasha Boersma (she/her) (@sashaboersma) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@MrAlexBethke @Rogers Except Bell did an oops of their own a couple of months back when their internet was down for a day and flakey for weeks. Tech sometimes goes down when repaired. The problem in both cases - where was your back-up plan so you can take A down and have B still work…

  • J_R_Scooter Not THAT Jeff Ross..I'm funnier & had the name 1st (@J_R_Scooter) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@raehanbobby Well, I AM reading your post on a @Rogers network, so there's that. 🙄

  • DianeFisico Diane Fisico (@DianeFisico) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps @Rogers please note the Italian channels (650-656) are choppy (in Toronto); picture and sound keep going on and off. When will you TV service be operational? #RogersOutage #RogersIgnite

  • alstillo Alessandro Stillo (@alstillo) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

@RogersHelps / your techs are having difficulty w/ a network security feature offered via MyRogers app; Tech Support Permission.

  • axwong AlexW (@axwong) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps To Mr Tony Staffieri Critical infrastructure to take outage for over 8 hours with limited to no redundancy and business resumption is more than a disappointment and unacceptable. Root cause not withstanding. Operational risks of Canadian network is vastly exposed to the globe

  • NickWons Nick Wons (@NickWons) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@DominousNolen @Rogers @RogersHelps Now I've been told it could take another 24 hours for service to be restored. Madness. I'm looking at changing providers this week, I can't deal with this.

  • CarloGon Carlo Gon (@CarloGon) reported from Vaughan, Ontario

@Rogers Yet it keeps happening. Thanks for FINALLY trying to resolve the issue July 8, 2022. It caused a nationwide problem! Now, Ignite TV is lagging more than ever and the company says issues are resolved as Ted Rogers is kicking in his grave. #rogersoutrage #rogers

  • johneepixels7 Johnee Pixels (@johneepixels7) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@RogersHelps Internet intermittent issues all day today in College West End (Bloor Landsdowne area). Very distruptful during work hours!

  • j_santi221 ...santi_ (@j_santi221) reported from Toronto, Ontario

  • sashaboersma Sasha Boersma (she/her) (@sashaboersma) reported from Toronto, Ontario

@MrAlexBethke @Rogers Oh, there is a push for CRTC inquiry on the 911 issue, as they would have broken a condition of license (or whatever it’s called for telecom). That part is likely a breach of the Telcom Act.

Rogers Issues Reports

Latest outage, problems and issue reports in social media:

  • ksickbro ksickbro (@ksickbro) reported

@RogersHelps fix the internet I need to bottom frag in Valorant

  • ItsLeeWilliams Lee Williams (@ItsLeeWilliams) reported

@RogersHelps it’s odd why, as a “preferred customer” you require an additional $5 a month for waiving the automatic withdrawal but as a regular client, there is no such request to waive or fee.

  • BigDee59869599 BigDee (@BigDee59869599) reported

@RogersHelps you guys able to give a rough estimate, at least, on an ETR for the Nepean area? I got conned into switching to ignite. Everything is now dependant on an active internet connection. According to an outage map, it's clear across Canada.

  • jasonperrier Jason Perrier (@jasonperrier) reported

@camsteed @Rogers @RogersHelps Same here (L1N) and there is no outages they can see but obviously...servicesdowncanada has Rogers listed of having issues.

  • ItsLeeWilliams Lee Williams (@ItsLeeWilliams) reported

@RogersHelps You’re not getting it. If I waive the automatic withdrawal as a “preferred” customer, you add $5 to my monthly bill. As a consumer customer, if I waive the automatic withdrawal, there is NO $5 added to my monthly bill. Why?

  • Benwynes Benjamin Wynes (@Benwynes) reported

@RogersHelps can you tell me if there is an outage of Internet in Whitby, ON. More specifically, Brooklin.

  • andrewjones8399 Andrew (@andrewjones8399) reported

@TravellerLife4 @RogersHelps Send a message to recovery_accounts_ on instagram for help

  • camsteed Cam Steed (@camsteed) reported

Our @Rogers internet has been restored in Brooklin (L1M). In total, a 4.5 hour outage but the bigger lesson here is that @RogersHelps canned responses do NOTHING to help the situation. Be human, not an autotron.

  • 0xmeraux13 0xMeraux13 (@0xmeraux13) reported

@Rogers @Fidomobile What's up with your network! Issues started about a month ago S/W Brampton, now almost everywhere! Full LTE+ signal, data almost useless.

  • catherinekitts Catherine Kitts (@catherinekitts) reported

@RogersHelps is doing everything possible to bring services back asap. Tip: If your neighbours have service but you do not – power off your modem for 2 mins then reconnect. That reset is sometimes really all that is needed! Reminder, free wifi at Navan arena/François Dupuis.
