  • CassandraMHans1
    Cassandra M Hansen (@CassandraMHans1) reported

@RogersHelps Rogers hasn't updated that for 11 hours. All the information is super vague. What's the actual issue? And can we expect this to be resolved sometime soon? Or are we talking multiple days? Internet is out and data is so slow it's basically unusable.

@RogersHelps It’s nearly 40 hours now since the storm and I have had no internet, no cable and no explanation as to why this is taking so long to resolve or what is being done to fix this problem.

@Rogers @henglish1982 @Rogers Day 3 no internet. We don’t care about TV. Very limited 3G Cell service. Only got online at 2am. L9L area ? Can’t text or call anyone, no cell service. I had to drive to town to get signal. A few blocks over they have power and internet. Day 3, nothing here. Any news ?

@RogersHelps @lula76 Any idea when it might be back on in Kanata? It’s been out since yesterday and unlike hydro, you guys have zero information on the fact that there is an outage, or when to expect it to come back on. Power has been on for 24 hours but the interwebs are dark.

It would be enormously helpful if @Rogers @RogersHelps could post outage updates on its website or Twitter to help keep people informed. Being in the “dark” about service outages doesn’t help consumer confidence. #rogersoutage #rogersinternet
