@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Overloaded cable networks are a real issue and the regulatory imbalance rendering fibre inaccessible exacerbâtes the issues. If you have unreliable cable in the peak hours, a DSL connection would likely solve your problems.

You'd think after the latest crisis, @RogersHelps would have made more effort to keep me as a customer. @Bell_Support was ready + willing to offer discounts. Wonder what I'll decide...

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Google your modem model for info on how to access its status page, grab screenshots, and send those to tech support. That eventually got Rogers out to replace corroded connectors.

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps But OTOH the DSL network is often neglected as the telephone incumbents move to only up-keeping their fibre networks. We need a chance to successfully compete over fibre networks to properly balance out the market place.

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Unless you are splitting the cable, your signal might be too strong. Rogers has had to come on sight twice to REDUCE the strength the signal at my modem. Measure your levels. TS can talk you through it via DM.

Hey @Rogers you would think after the month that you’ve had that your support line would do better than to say “I can’t help” and disconnect with no explanation.

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps I've always found Teksavvy to be helpful even though the need to send Rogers. Rogers does not care and I expect their end game is to get you to quit Teksavvy. Teksavvy support, via Twitter DM, is stellar. If they or you capture signal levels, it helps. Do you have cable TV?

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Unfortunately, it's happening to all of us Blessed Rogers customers. It's gotten worse (if possible) since "The Great Outage". We're screwed for options 🤬

@David_Moscrop @TekSavvyBuzz @RogersHelps Get another tech out there and talk to them - tell them it's up and down and you suspect corrosion in the connectors ask for them to be changed
